What do you mean against their will???

ireland, france belguim and the dutch were all forced to vote again when they voted against different treaties.
You said they were forced to do so by 'EU minions in Brussels' which suggests to me they did so against their will. If I got that wrong fair enough, so can you give me an example of a country being forced to hold a referendum by EU minions in Brussels?

The four countries above voted against treaties in referendums and were told to vote again or treaties would not pass if they did not do a second vote, it's not hard to understand

Those countries renegotiated the treaties or were given opt-outs, they then put the revised package back to the electorate. Who are you suggesting forced them to do that?

When Starmer kills 200,000 needlessly or knocks billions off all our pensions you may have a point.
This is a thread on the far right (and far left to keep the complainers happy) so let’s not take it off track. There is a politics thread.
not when the far left use underhand tactics to get you thread banned

Nice seeing the judge handing down some decent sentences for these clowns. I thought the guy who hit the officer with the sledgehammer might have another few years. These left wing guys are dangerous and a bit thick.

Four Palestine Action activists who mounted a raid on an Israel-based defence firm’s UK factory, causing £1.2 million of damage and leaving a police officer with a fractured spine, have been jailed.

Charlotte Head, 30, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona Kamio, 30, and Fatema Rajwani, 21, used an old prison van to crash into the Elbit Systems site near Bristol in the early hours of August 6 2024.

The activists used sledgehammers and crowbars to destroy computers, drones and other equipment before police and security intervened.

Corner, a former student at Oxford, was jailed for seven years and eight months after striking police officer Kate Evans twice on the back with a seven-pound sledgehammer, leaving her with a fractured spine.

Judge Jeremy Johnson told Corner he had used “extreme and gratuitous force against a vulnerable police officer acting in the course of her duties".

Head, who drove the prison van into the compound, and Kamio were both sentenced to five years in prison, and Rajwani received a sentence of four years and eight months.

Each defendant will also spend an extra year on licence once their prison terms have ended.

Their refunds from the EU were suspended until they voted the way the EU wanted, They used exactly the same tactics on Poland to get then to accept migrant number they wanted to send.

The European Union formally withdrew its "Article 7" sanctions procedure against Poland. The EU Commission closed the mechanism in May 2024 after the Polish government under Prime Minister Donald Tusk introduced concrete action plans to restore independence Now Instead of being the target of sanctions, Poland serves as an active enforcer of EU sanctions against Russia and Belarus.

We had all sorts of exemptions and rebates when we were in including the currency. If and when we do go back we won't get such good terms. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
But Starmers game plan for reentry to the EU by the backdoor, was to give the EU free access to our fish stocks for 12 years. Environmental groups have complained that foreign factory trawlers using drag nets are stripping our breeding grounds bare, As starmers plans for the free giveaway did not go through parliament so no restrictions were in place for fish stock protection. While French fishermen in coastal water near the channel island attack our boats oyster and lobster fishing

The Poland example you give had nothing to do with domestic referenda, it was to do with the independence of the judiciary. Can you give an example of 'EU minions in Brussels' forcing a member state to hold a second referendum?

I just have
The EU refused to accept the will of the Polish vote
The European Union suspended a rebate for Poland, the European Commission previously withheld over €130 billion in structural and post-pandemic recovery funds. This vast suspension was largely driven by former rule-of-law disputes and has since been actively thawing

Heseltine: It’s time to reverse Johnson and Farage’s Brexit crime.

13/6/2026

"Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage should “hang their heads in shame” for the damage they caused to Britain by leading the campaign that saw it leave the EU, Michael Heseltine has said.

The former Conservative deputy prime minister said that 10 years on from the EU referendum the “bankruptcy” of their claims that Brexit would bring huge benefits to the UK had been exposed and led voters to believe that it should be reversed.

The British public had been “lied” to in a “heinous crime”, Lord Heseltine, who served under John Major and Margaret Thatcher’s governments, writes for The Independent after it launched its Europe – The Way Back campaign.

Brexit was a “self-imposed disaster” and it is time for Britain to “reclaim our traditional role as a major European nation” and rejoin the EU."

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but we would never get the deal we had before so just can't see it happening. Not sure the EU are ready to have us back either tbh.

Staggering 100,000 failed asylum seekers living in UK - 'outrageous'

EXCLUSIVE: More than 26,000 have been here for at least a decade despite losing their cases, according to Home Office figures

“Illegal immigrants are also generally low skilled, or have no skills, so they do not make a net economic contribution once housing costs are accounted for.”
One in four people who first claimed asylum in 2010 still hadn’t been returned by March 2026.
Home Office records show 7,753 were refused refuge. But only 5,588 have been removed.

Holy crap. I suspect he will get his back passage sledgehammered in prison when people find out what he did.

Starmer has done more to hurt our economy and people than Brexit ever done that's why he is the most hated PM in British history
