There was less wearing of replica shirts in those days and we had this shirt (or one like it) from 1975 to 1982. I don't remember it being particularly popular or unpopular. I think it looked better than what we have now and til 79 it had a white collar as OLM has described above. We also had a tiger badge on it from 79-82.
Nice that the Makers have took time out to talk about the kit and club, not seen other company's do that so that's a good thing also being Hull lads is a really good thing.
Still don't like the shirt though.

You see brady there was no need for a meltdown.
I like it, didn't like last years' kit that much.....my opinion doesn't mean a great deal as like every year i'll wait til after xmas to see what's in the sales before buying anything myself.....kids will both get a full kit for birthdays before xmas tho, they'll love anything city chuck out tbf......

It's our time.
There's a lot of palaver about our new shirt, but it seems an unnecessary fuss. These shirts should only be worn by our players and children under the age of 11. Hope that helps calm things down, no need to thank me.
I really like the fact that the Oxen badge works so well as a Europa look a like. I do think they should have had the white detailing on a black stripe.
