Hopefully!! Sad to say, but no respect for the bloke after this at all. No shock ofc but it’s just so sad there’s no loyalty left in the game whatsoever
Shame. That's a new signing needed. I wonder who's available.
The contract extension thing is a bit crap but I'm not going to get too annoyed with him for that. It might suggest he wasn't that keen to stay anyway, which is interesting. As someone said elsewhere, it's a gamble for him. If he injures himself at the World Cup he may be out of contract for a long time.
Assume that means we need another striker. Larin, Archer and BBD (if you count him as a central striker) the only senior ones we have on the books for next season.
Enter Damion Downs...
Welcome Helmut KlinkerbottomI'm sure Spores has one up his sleeve
Well this is really annoying. I have no faith in our ability to replace his quality or goals given our track record with strikers. Hopefully he doesn't just go to one of our competitors in the Championship and goes to a club in Scotland or something instead.
Yeah, I presume his agent has got something firmed up alreadyYou'd think Ross would have something lined up and agreed elsewhere, as going into the WC with no contract and an injury record as long as his (even if minutes are limited) is just a massive gamble that could leave him on Universal Credit.
Think it’s pretty nailed on he’ll be going to another Champ team, question is who. Outside chance of one of the promoted sides as well, would be a good backup option for McBurnie I think

I may have this completely wrong but didn't Dragan say that being thrown out of the playoffs messed up the process? There was a short window (to offer an extension) that opened after the last game of the season which would have been the playoff final. When we got excluded the last game became the semi final which meant the window had already closed. Saints approached Stewart's agent who told them they were too late. And? We should have triggered the extension before the play offs started.
