well compared to premier league and football
its a minority sport, no one has heard of oxen

oxen must be wiping their eyes thinking how lucky they are
having a premier league teams kit

the audience the premier league gets versus rugby league is beyond belief mate
We have team shirts available to buy now which we didn't have with other suppliers .
Last season we actually had 3 nice shirts but no stock to buy .
I mean how many of the shirts did we actually receive to sell ?
You could see at Wembley that it wasnt many, we could have sold a lot of the away shirt but hardly got any in

thats a good point to be fair
are we having more stock with oxen?

that could be a big deal as well as potential more % from sales

why can oxen produce more than a big company like kappa though?

its not

the global audience that the premier league gets is 10,000 more

so when a club like us gets in this league, we need to maximise profit as much as possible
are oxen going to be selling shirts in asia?
turkey?
The profit for merchandise in the Prem for us is peanuts compared to TV money .
And if we had pulled out of the deal and tried to get say Puma exactly how long would we have waited for stuff ?

I don't know the reason .
The season before we had a lot of shirts at the end of the season .
Then this previous season hardly any so might have been a cash flow problem .
Id have been ok staying with them but obvs something wasn't right as originally there was the option for 1 more season I think ( not 100% sure )

Because they have exclusive agreements with smaller manufacturers who they can push and pull depending on demand. Going with global brand means you fall into the same CapEx budget as 100 other customers.

The last City shirt I bought was around 1982, and that won't be changing, so any bleedin' size you want. Oh, (and true to form) in any bleedin' colour you want. :emoticon-0103-cool:

It's our time.
Amber Admiral round about then wasn't it?

I had one,and I was about 11 stone soaking wet back then(I've put on a 'couple' of hundredweight since, before you fling it in).

One of my Daughter's adopted it some years later and wore it as a nightdress, still got a pic somewhere:emoticon-0102-bigsm
