This Kalvin Phillips talk is just a repeat of people saying we should’ve signed Jonjo Shelvey last summer but in a different division. He’s had two loans at two struggling PL sides and been ****e and a loan at Championship level and also been ****e. Let it go.

Kasey Palmer, 8 goals and 1 assist from attacking midfield in League One. Luton want him back, Huddersfield also linked…wouldn’t surprise me if Sheffield Wednesday or Leicester might fancy him too. Might be a mini bidding war there to get things started.

Derby wanted Drameh and I think there’d be similar levels of interest in him across the Championship. Get consistency out of him and he’ll be worth a lot more than £2 million, someone will take a punt.

Pandur can go for me. If we get better distribution from GK we’ll be far more effective in the Premier League. I’d push the boat out for Pierce Charles at Sheff Wed. Great with his feet, and at 20 we could eventually make a tidy profit on him.
Pierce Charles height scares me in the prem when their seems to be giants at every corner.

I know Pandur isn’t the tallest and isn’t much taller, however command of his area is quite strong whereas it isn’t for Charles in what I’ve seen. I have no stats to back this up so could be entirely wrong and I am only going off memory.

I’d rather the ball goes out of play a bit in comparison with conceding a corner/ long throw or cross every other game.

I like Pandur. I get the logic that people think keepers are easier to replace, but I like his temperament, I like how he’s dealt with setbacks this year (many of which where his own making), I think he does the basics really well and although he’s not a keeper that fills the goal, he rarely flaps or gets bullied when coming for crosses. I’d like to think his distribution improves with time, he’s still very young for a keeper. Cut out those silly mistakes that should come as he matures and he’s a solid Premier League keeper in my opinion.

Yep we should be getting Ash back for cm

Anyone else a bit pissed off that we have to deal with something like this after the season we've just had. I know its not the same as what we were punished for before but I really would have thought we'd have made damn sure we got everything spot on and got the books balanced in January.
How do we balance things in January when the majority of this 6m will be due to promotion? 2m is Omur, I'm sure other players probably have promotion add ons, and then the wage bonus.

They did try but didn't get the players out that they wanted to at the time. We could've spent less but the end result it we got promoted so I don't think we can complain too much.

I think calling it "the ball going out of play a bit" is downplaying the issue somewhat. In the PL where everyone presses man for man and attackers tend to finish their chances the keeper's kicking will be even more important and we won't keep getting away with him giving it away all the time.

Pandur's handling is brilliant and I agree that that's important too, but we've been working around the distribution issue for too long already and now we're going up a level. Yes he's still young but he's surely been working on it for two years now and it's shown no signs of getting any better.

Silva isn’t leaving Fulham so serg won’t be going there at least… did I read a few pages back our glorious owner told some Turkish news outlet we have a 215 million transfer pot.
I did find it odd no one replied to that post.. or was I just dreaming… again…more in hope than expectation..

Silva is joining Benfica, where did you see he isn't leaving Fulham? Fulham themselves have confirmed it: https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2026/june/02/marco-silva-to-leave-fulham/

So, it's find 6m in 3 weeks or face starting the season as underdogs (whatever we subsequently spend) with a points deduction on top?

Realistically we're probably talking the departure of a player or two we'd rather keep unless some of Acun's contacts owe him some significant favour.

Hull City, who have been promoted to the Premier League, are tracking many players currently playing in our league, especially the big four. Official bids are expected to arrive soon.

I know it's very hard to get a read on, but apart from baz, do we actually know which journalists are reliable and worth paying attention to?

I've seen people so tier lists before but I suppose when you've just been promoted you get journalists mention you that have never mentioned you before

There's a Turkish journo who's very reliable and sometimes sends me stuff (dunno if he thinks I'm an official account but I've never corrected him lol).

so unless we receive ~£6m of player sales by july
we will get a points deduction?

Pandur is a strange one. I don’t know why we don’t set up like Big Sam used to from goal kicks, put 2/3 round Crooks and McBurnie and smash it.

The ITK mailing list on here is by far and away the best source of info.

Don’t know why he always tries the kick to the touchline when he doesn’t have the accuracy. At least 50% of them just go out for an enemy throw in. If you don’t have the accuracy to pull it off routinely then just go central surely?

Obviously instructions to do that but just seems a bit bizarre to repeatedly be so wasteful.
