yea, its crazy how far ghana have fallen over the last few years
they use to be one of if not the best african team, but their current gen has no top level players really apart from a certain mr partey..

It's funny how nations do that. If you look at Belgium 20 years or so ago there was barely anyone significant or well-known. Then they had a spell of being one of the strongest nations in the world for a decade or so, and now they've maybe started to drop off again. It's strange that they were ever that far behind say The Netherlands, a similar-sized neighbouring country who produced loads of good players, and that they so suddenly became a brilliant football nation.

netherlands is pretty poor really isint it?
theres a few top level players, but a long way from the likes of robben, van persie, sneijders etc

same as italy
italy have barely qualified for anything in the last 15 years

but won a lot

Yeah Netherlands are not great now. I meant at the time that Belgium produced no one of note (seriously, look at their World Cup 2002 squad and see how many names you recognise) Netherlands were very strong.

yea belgiums golden generation was full of top level european players

arguably the best defense in the world
hazard and de bruyne at their primes, lukaku

but they didnt get past a semi final
