I don't think it necessarily means that. Maybe it's possible to account it such that any new signing goes on next year's books rather than this.
I thought that too but then why would selling players before 30th June count as revenue for 25/26 but signing a player before 30th June count towards 26/27? The window opens mid-June as well.

I find it a bit complex, to be honest. The window opens mid-June but they aren’t registered until 1st July at the earliest. This is why we couldn’t sign Puerta and Laalaoui last summer even though the contracts were signed before the transfer fee restriction came into force.

Well with amortisation you book the entire fee received to the current year but can book fees paid overall several years - that's part of why teams have done reciprocal transfers in June to avoid breaching FFP in the past, I think the deal that took Elliot Anderson to Forest was one of those?

But on top of that EFL rule, there's maybe also jiggery pokery you can agree with a buying club to get more money up front (and perhaps less overall) if you need it before a specific deadline. Although maybe amortisation makes that irrelevant.

The PSR thing might be irrelevant now anyway because making the playoff final was said to be worth a few million before we even won it. I think that was on quite good authority; it might've been Jared Dublin who said it.

yes the tv money may have contributed well... the ticket money went to boro..?

Based on what i am reading it seems to indicate that we need to sell players this month to meet PSR regs, but, cant imagine we are going to get much unless we sell Hughes or Belloumi etc. Plus there is just over 4 weeks left inJune. I dont get it . Does anybody else if so please explain.
Sanctions when we next come down. IT AINT EVER HAPPENING UTFT

So, nobody think this was an interesting comment, or have I missed the discussion on another thread or something?

What he's said on infrastructure?

"We have three training pitches just for the first team, which is more than enough. We also have a gym, a kitchen, saunas... The Academy has a camp at another location. However, we don't have a good pitch, it was really bad in the spring and everyone complained about it. That's because we share the pitch with the rugby team and now the boss is working on separating it. Well, not everything is perfect in England sometimes."
Let's hope so

if we had puerta this season
i genuinely think we'd have at least 10 more points than we did

He was definitely one that got away however on the flip side there’s a good chance Slater wouldn’t have developed into the player he has as they played the same role and I think Puerta definitely would have taken that spot in the team at the start of the season.

puerta would have been the lundstram replacement

He looked way off it in the Championship. Scored a few goals, yes, but the kid can’t dribble properly. He’s quick and an okay finisher but his dribbling, crossing, first touch and general decision-making isn’t even Championship level, let alone Premier League level. I can’t believe people want us to waste a loan spot or even sign him permanently. It’s like winning £200 million in the lottery and buying a Vauxhall Corsa.

Would feel like a Will Keane standard of signing.

serj said in some croatian interview, a player told him hed never seen such a happy squad before

mcburnie did an interview where he said, keeping the first 11 happy is easy, when youre playing week in week out, easy peasy
but he said serj was remarkable at keeping the players who werent playing happy as well
and thats a very tough job

Not sure about that they did qualify for the 1992 euros at a time when tensions between the now nations was rather fraught. Got kicked out of that and replaced by Denmark who went on to win it.

You might be the person to ask, how come Slovenia and Slovakia have similar sounding names, flags and languages, are fairly close to one another geographically but apparently are nothing alike in most other ways? Did one copy the other?

Guess you could agree that the payment will go through on July 1st? Is that allowed?

Slovakia and Slovenia have the same root from Proto-Slavic *slověn-. However, Slovakian is a West Slavic language in the same branch as Czech and Polish and Slovenian is a South Slavic language in the same branch as Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian etc. The flags are similar because they use the pan-Slavic tricolour of blue, white and red which became popular during the revolutions of 1848 and romantic nationalism.
