We basically need to flog as many of our fringe players as possible in the next four weeks to be compliant. If that means accepting slightly lower bids, so long as the fees collectively get us under the threshold, then so be it.

Do we know the figure to be compliant?

No, not without the accounts for 25/26. The people at the club will know though and that’s all that matters as they will need to calculate what magic number gets them to be compliant.

York City have accepted a seven-figure sum for defender Malachi ***an-Walcott from Hearts.

It's now down to the player to agree personal terms but if the transfer goes through, it would be a club record sale.

The previous record was £950,000
I don't think either ***an or Walcott were very strong defensively. Seems a risky buy.

Blimey. Steve Gibson will be getting all excited. Perhaps they can lose both the semi-final and final and still go up. Or would it apply next season or only when relegated back to EFL?
It won’t be applied to the 25/26 season. It could apply to the 26/27 season in the Prem in theory since the PL and EFL now cooperate on points deductions.

so special wheeling and dealing... take Palmer, tell Luton he's really X but we'll take Y and we want Z if you get promoted and he plays so many games...

Young, cheap and I'm guessing Sergej knows them. Could be good?
All 3 play in Croatian premier league
Fruk for Rijeka and he is clearly quality wise the best of pack
Pusktas for Hajduk, young and talented but unproven in serious competition.
Hoxa, for Dinamo Zagreb, Albanian international, with international experience questionable is he good enough for Premiership.

personally, I would only take Fruk . Gamble on Pusktas if Hull struggles to sign enough better quality lads.

"The boss is working on separating it" ..... FC from the MKM?!?
So, nobody think this was an interesting comment, or have I missed the discussion on another thread or something?

What he's said on infrastructure?

"We have three training pitches just for the first team, which is more than enough. We also have a gym, a kitchen, saunas... The Academy has a camp at another location. However, we don't have a good pitch, it was really bad in the spring and everyone complained about it. That's because we share the pitch with the rugby team and now the boss is working on separating it. Well, not everything is perfect in England sometimes."

It also means we won't be signing anyone this month

Its going to be an interesting negotiation over the renewal of the lessee agreement with Hull FC that's for sure. They don't want to leave or pay more, in fact they think they should pay less ... Acun, well sergi isn't wrong haha

From the sound of it I don't think it's a large amount at all. Reading between the lines I think it was hinted at in January that getting a move for Akintola would've kept us compliant then. I doubt it'll mean making a major sale that we don't want to make.
