Couldn't it just take you to the train station?
Nah trains are ****, I couldn't see them coping with the capacity. Unless there is a better way of utilising the lines. Often if you want to travel any distance you are best paying in advance, then they get more expensive as the seats are sold, imagine a world where we've suddenly pushed the population onto that network. Think I'd need to see examples from China and Japan.

I can see the scenario in Cornwall, Piskie will catch a Waymo, window wound down, arm resting comfortably, waving at the poor kids as he goes by, their dads old cab rusting on the front lawn.

He eventually gets to the beach cliff top, takes the bike out the boot, quick snap for the lads before putting it back in the boot to go home again.

He will not even have to take the dog for a walk anymore cab arrives, takes dog to field, waits until he's had his run and brings the dog home again.
That already happens

Already 24 Waymo cars on the streets of London being tested, although manned until they've passed the testing stage.

I've started from a particular point in the video, where a guy tracking them down comes up behind one - he's a bit of a boring fella, but it shows they are being tested...

Did you see any in Hong Kong or China when you went there Bobby?

I've seen the food delivery bots, they've got them in Miami and Chicago. When I say seen I meant on the internet btw.

Seen the delivery food bots in chinese hotels.

Haven't seen anything in Hong Kong but i don't really go out to hotels and stuff much in HK. These guys are still like 70% cash in HK so no surprises there.

In the future we won’t need cars. We won’t go anywhere. We’ll all be in cubicles wearing immersive headsets and pretending to live in virtual reality.
<laugh>This isn’t even that far fetched tbh

Perhaps we already are in a matrix and this is the level of criminal sprites taking chunks off your healthbar, never ending hordes of freeloading alien NPCs taking all they can and the final boss is the prime minister sending foreign aid and war funds from your pocket all over the world while our old people freeze to death and our young have little prospect of ever buying a house and everything becomes difficult af and you just wanna smash the fuking controller off the wall <whistle>

We seem to be creating an environment where people don't talk to fellow humans anymore. I caught a cab yesterday and was chatting to the driver, that will all be gone with automation, we are creating an environment where people will become scared of their own shadows soon.
Da yoof can’t hold a fuking convo anymore already

My birds niece has just turned 17 and honestly I’ve never met a more empty headed grunter of that age in life

even my mrs says she’s thick as ****. And genuinely worry’s for her going forward

I’ve dubbed her Kevin and Perry but I’m not allowed to say it in front of her even tho I could and she’d have no fuking clue what I was on about

I blame the internet

But you want to put an extra stop in the chain, another place for a traffic bottle-neck. You've also got to make sure there's enough pods.
As to China, this lasted 12 days

Even coppers don't talk anymore, imagine your last breath in life was some copper sticking the cuffs on you, while laying on the ground.

It was an imaginery scenario, I never said it would work. <laugh>

You really do lack a personality bro, you need to chill out and relax sometimes.

Maybe try to engage better, ask more probing questions in these situations, rather then allowing your critical thinking skills to fail you once again.

Even contribute more from time to time, it's ok Ern we won't judge you if you do, we will not be like daddy standing over you, promise.
