I like Titraoui. Good box-to-box midfielder with an engine. He’s also good at dropping deep and receiving the ball under pressure.
It would be a payment to the player, not their parent club, so it couldn't be considered a loan fee and wouldn't be an issue. Not with the transfer restrictions we were under we couldn’t do any of that. I don’t know about existing bonuses in their contracts with parent clubs but we couldn’t offer any extra above what they’re already on.
Reminds me a little of Puerta on the clips, hopefully with slightly more legs. I think we need to invest in athleticism, pace and power, but I’m interested to see if we do try and command a little more possession now we have more opportunity to get the profile of players Serg wants.I like Titraoui. I thought we underused McNair, but given the outcome that’s a pretty empty criticism.
Koumas? He has an obvious eye for goal but he’s not currently good enough to make regular Premier League appearances.
Collyer? If he could get and stay fit he could be a good addition. Big If though.
It wasnt from Koumas directly. Holden or Hodges used it as an example of the unity in the dressing room. Not sure he’d use a fake gratitude example.

He had ability on the ball but he couldn’t run! Not sure his talent on the ball is good enough to justify his lack of legs, but I did like himSpeaking of which, Puerta has just won the Spanish second division. I absolutely wouldn't be averse to Puerta coming back for the right price. I liked his energy in midifield.
Agreed. Puerta and Titraoui are quite similar. Both stocky with a low centre of gravity, energetic and tidy on the ball. Puerta’s probably more aggressive and Titraoui is more press-resistant.Speaking of which, Puerta has just won the Spanish second division. Puerta had good work-rate and attitude but his conditioning wasn’t great, I agree. He’d gas himself out quickly. I think that’s improved after a full season in Spain though. He should be much fitter now.He had ability on the ball but he couldn’t run! Not sure his talent on the ball is good enough to justify his lack of legs, but I did like him
Wouldn’t mind toasty doing a round up of all the players we’ve had since acun took over
Alzate? Done any good
I’d even forgotten about puerta
Must be loads more
Puerta scored 3 goals in 25 games for Racing de Santander (played 38 across all competitions), it looks he's a significant player for them, almost all those appearances were starts.Wouldn’t mind toasty doing a round up of all the players we’ve had since acun took over

I would have thought if we could offer players 200k on top of their normal wage if, say, they play 15 games that would constitute a loan fee but who knows. It all depends on the structure of the deal, some are just a %. Some are the full wage including contracted bonuses and some can include extras on top to entice the player. Re bonus / incentives and our embargo, I don't think it would constitute a loan fee as is part of the playing contract which is separate from any loan fee. I'm guessing the FA would have had to have oversight on it as they have with the players we signed on a free and those contracts will have different kinds of bonuses in and they were "ok'd"
I'm not saying he does have or doesn't have. Only that's it's possible we've added something on top of his Liverpool contract

Alzate seems to have had less impact, 11 starts, 6 sub appearances and no goals.
agree - but, I can’t see us going down that technical route too much, so you’d think one or two signings in that mould max. Sounds like Madrid have a 50% sell on.7 in 37 and showing as a value on €5m on Transfermarket?
(’ve no idea how accurate that is though, and I do realise his 7 goals have come against a very good standard, but even so it seems a bit of a stretch value wise? ( Elche scored 49 btw)
He is tall though
7 goals 5 assists in la liga, 21 an all. Seems like a very good signing to me and can easily see a player like that having one of them seasons like Igor Thiago etc7 in 37 and showing as a value on €5m on Transfermarket?

Looking on social media. The fans of Elche don’t value him at that price either.7 in 37 and showing as a value on €5m on Transfermarket?
