Very interesting the whole homegrown quota, might make more credence to the Abraham and Elliott interest

Not sure who else we will be targeting

Exactly this.

The lad was class when he got a run of games and if he’d been able to do that regular the only way he was leaving was for a large fee.

It’s stopped him developing and for all he didn’t look miles of PL we need reliability.

All the best Cirks, some great memories WBA in particular.

He will get a good move without question he is superb in the Championship
Maybe a promoted side either. Hull springs to mind. He hasn't disgraced himself when playing. Its his body (and maybe mind) that can’t make it consistent.

Other than concerns about our growing lack of homegrown players, I wouldn’t be gutted at Mundle leaving.

There is talent there but not sure he’ll ever have the consistency to make it as PL level, especially with his injury history. Capable of great moments but also a very frustrating player who often makes the wrong choice.

I feel that Mundle has been one of those players people use as a scapegoat because of a couple of mistakes. He never deserved the abuse he got, same as Mayenda didn’t at the beginning of the previous season for a miss in front of goal or Le Fee when he missed the penalty. I still think Mundle can offer us a lot if he stays fit. I like his directness and determination and seen at times defenders scared when he attacks.

Mundle might have all the talent in the world but if you can never get on the pitch to show it then it kinda makes having the talent pointless

Not sure why anyone get hung up on what a potential players wages might be.... Its the clubs money...you have to assume they know what they are doing given these are the same people who ....against all odds... got this club into 7th place and Europe. If they wanted to pay him a million a week, I couldn't care less...its their decision, they seem to have a handle on the clubs finances
Just an opinion really, no malice

we have the academy lads that can count
we also need 4 locally trained players over the age of 21 for the europa league, the only ones I can think of are Patto, Zak Johnson, Pickford and Henderson. Two don't play for us, and the other two likely won't either. So either way, we are going to take a hit to the squad count due to missing those spots

Just realised Kondogbia played a lot at CB the season before this so makes sense to sign him if he can play Xhakas role aswell at CB. If Geertruida didn’t look like a fish out of water at DM I’m not sure we’d be looking for someone like Kondogbia but it’s obviously a worry for the club that we have nobody who can naturally fill in for the captain when needed.

Couple of thoughts. If we can get Romaine fit, the so called “experts “ reckon that the majority of the teams will we face in Europe are lower premiership/ championship teams. He’s more than good enough to play and win games for us against that quality of opposition. Also I see Sheffield united are trying to get kalvin Phillips on loan for next season. Surely if it is only a loan and he fits the personality traits we are looking for, then surely he could cover for Granit in the European games and being English I think that would help as well.
