If he seriously wanted to stay, there would've been a contract for him to sign. Hope he has a decent career
Really sad to see him go, was always a huge fan of his. Injuries and lack of playing time meant this was inevitable
Seems a lovely lad, hope he does well but glad we’ll get a more available person for a busy campaign. (Hopefully)
Curious to see where he ends up. Ability wise, he's 100% a PL player, but fitness record maybe means it'll be a Championship move for him.
I do wonder if his inability to make himself available for those 5 games when Reinildo was injured did for him? He did well during AFCoN and showed he could step up.

Gutted to see Cirkin go, seemed a canny lad, bads of ability but he couldn't stay first. Without the injuries I think he would have been a regular in the premier league!
Always remember the WBA goal but I'd forgotten that absolute rocket against Coventry.

We could also say the same about Niall Huggins who is an even sadder story
Had an embarrassment of Riches at Rb and Lb on paper in the Championship years Hume, Huggins, Cirkin and Alese are all starting caliber players. But bar Hume they are all made of glass.
Forgot about Huggins the couple times he came back from injury and played he hit the ground running and looked class immediately!

The lad was class when he got a run of games and if he’d been able to do that regular the only way he was leaving was for a large fee.
It’s stopped him developing and for all he didn’t look miles of PL we need reliability.
