Rather than going to Las Vegas (which actually sounds way way better than it actually is). Think that some of the team in particular McBurnie may need to take a detour to the Betty Ford Recovery Center and check into the "Beer and Victory High" wing for a detox:):emoticon-0111-blush. Its in Palm Springs, its only an hour detour by plane and after recovering they can get fit again playing tennis ready for next season. Rest of the team can continue on to Vegas and loose some of their richly deserved bonus for getting us up. :)
Gotta to say the racous celbrations by the team, staff and supporters at Wembley and in the streets of Hull and Victoria Square were a joy to watch. I particulary liked McBurnie smoking the Amber smoke spewing cigar. What a character!
And good job Charlie Hughes is making a decent living playing football since he is never going to make any money singing for a living:)

The entire season has been like a TV drama, from rumours of bankruptcy and a transfer embargo to being virtually unbeatable and looking like we’re in with a shout of automatic promotion, to dropping out of the top 6 with one game to go to, well, this. It’s real Hollywood blockbuster stuff (particularly so in light of the actual Hollywood team falling at the final hurdle with the Boro fans singing our song at them). Priceless
And then add the number of injuries. Certainly prior to Christmas, we were filling the bench with kids, injured players etc. and yet we kept winning.
Following the January transfer window, I was convinced we’d be making a push for automatics, but just did not kick on. Then after the penultimate game, fell out of the playoffs. Overall, was a fantastic squad acheivement.
Would like to see some comparison stats on;
How many players used in a season?
How many players scored?
How many weeks injured in total for the squad over the season?

I think Yu would have been an ok squad filler if it was a kinda fine, we'll take him off your hands deal. He's not really done enough at Bristol or at us to warrent a significant wage rise and I would imagine Bristol City would try to squeeze us and so if thats a case, were in a position to attract better talent imo.
Good value, but I can imagine us wanting one quality wide player, to then add to Belloumi, Geldahrd, Miller. Do we need a fifth?

I'm buzzing that the players are celebrating and they deserve it.. But half a dozen put off surgery to play, at the least Hughes and crooks but I'm sure others will need a clean up, so just hope they get their bodies right before preseason!

A bit late here but wanted to pop on and congratulate you lot on promotion. Although a Leeds fan, I always want Yorkshire clubs to do well (until we play each other).

Hopefully you sign Gelhardt. He deserves a proper go at the Premier League. He always looked to have a chance at making it at that level in patches but always seemed to pick up injuries just as he was gaining momentum. Always came across as a really good kid. Dunno what price we will ask for as he only has one year left on his contract.

Hopefully you can stay up next year but it's a tough ask....and not at the expense of us. The money dribbling down from the Premier League riches in to the city will make a difference.

Well done. See you next season.

Just been listening back to the Radio Humberside coverage of the post-match celebrations and it culminates at the very end in a lovely summary package of the day with Someone Like You as the backing track, and the commentary of the attack for the winning goal is brilliant. They speculate early in the attack that "this is the moment" and seemingly manifest the goal into existence, and the first you hear of the goal going in is Swanny screaming YES repeatedly. Really nice bit of passionate commentary I thought, and a beautiful package on the whole:
