No idea who he is or if he’s anygood but….
Promising 19yo French forward apparently. Transfermkt has him at €18m.

I'm sure someone on here will have watched him since he was an academy player.

Edit: n/m, I forgot I was 5 pages behind

Another value site has him at 9.8m which might be more realistic considering he was loaned to Fenerbache and looking at his YT thats a bit of a stretch.

It's clearly his agent trying very hard to get him a move to England. I wouldn't read too much into it, he's linked with everyone.

Not sure this has been mentioned, if it has then mods please delete.

KIeren Maguire tweated on the Saturday night that Hull City owe the Allam family - £19 million still.

I think our transfer expectations may need to be reined in a bit. No wonder he was coming to the home games, keeping an eye on his incoming funds.

That would suggest that they put a value on a club that doesnt own its own stadium at around £50 million. They then wanted the sell ons...

From what I heard, Acun only paid around £10m initially for the club, which was funded by a Santander loan. The delay of funds from Santander is what delayed the purchase of the club by a couple of days at the time.

There was obviously further add ons from player sales, England caps, promotion to the Prem etc so I'm fully expecting us to be paying him a wedge on promotion.

Maybe I should go and find the people I've sold houses to in the past, if they've done it up a bit and sold it on for a profit maybe I'm due a cut of that profit.
Seriously though I am aware of uplift in say a farmer selling a field at agricultural values will include a clause to say that if the buy later sells the field for property development the original owner is due a share.
If you had an uplift clause in the contract then yes you should, if not then no - that would be daft. I don’t know whether Ehab’s contract with Acun had something similar in it, and your repeated argument is that barring those two parties no one else does either and we therefore shouldn’t speculate.

Yet despite saying such a clause would be bonkers you gave a real world example where it happens regularly. I’ve also seen them on artworks that are ‘in the style of’ someone famous which might go on to be attributed to the actual famous artist and both parties know it’s the buyer’s intention to spend a bit to do the work to get them re-classified (the same as the planning approval that would be the more likely trigger for revaluation in your example).

It’s not particularly unusual on a deal where both parties think that the asset has the potential to be worth a lot more after a bit of additional work that the seller might not have the funds or ability to do. On that basis in our case I think it’s entirely believable, but I don’t know, but nor do you know to the extent that its very believability is bonkers. Which is surely speculation too?

The bit in bold is the gist of it. Speculation on the new kit or new players is a discussion, people giving their opinions. The money owed to Ehab is just guessing. As PLT pointed out the generally recognised as a reputable source the athletic has given two completely different guesses in the past week.
Just on this page it has now been suggested that the money owed could be part of the initial purchase price. Now that does open a point to be discussed if we do owe Ehab is it part of the initial price or an add on sum subject to promotion.

I think football fans sometimes get unduly hung up on debt figures. Don't get me wrong, I don't want us in debt to an Allam, but unless he's suddenly calling his debt in it doesn't really affect our current spending power. The total debt figure is even less relevant, almost all of that is to Acun, he just writes chunks off whenever he needs to and seems to have no interest in being paid back any time soon.

Lots of soft southern teams who won't fancy a trip up north. Cov and Ipswich obviously and I don't rate TWS either. Everton blow hot and cold, Forest are no great shakes. Get the recruitment right again and who knows
I think Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea should be forced to come here on a Tuesday / Wednesday night with an 8pm kick off in December and January...

We dont have the luxury of being able to 'bed' hackney in
We need signings to fit in right away
