I do agree, but that was to his multi million pound players and not junior staff. And he should have known better.
Kind of.
Football, like music, like most celeb adjacent jobs, are (rightly or wrongly) incredibly competitive to get into. The people that will survive in that environment are the types of people that aren't going to be arsed, or have enough backbone to take it if you have a demanding boss, or if you're called a c*nt now and again. Because you need that level of resilience to succeed. If you don't have that, there's a thousand other interns etc that will be keen to take your position.
Also, "bullying" is an emotive term, and one not actually used in The EFL report. It's all about context. Was it Salt that complained about that, or was it Taylor (who was sacked for being ****, but is now calling 'foul' and saying he was bullied. It's a microscopic moment away from him saying it affected his mental health). The fella clearly has an axe to grind, and has ground it with the help of El Gibbon. He's also demonstrably not cut out for a job in a competitive environment like sport.
Not all jobs, nor all job environments are equal. You'll have a very different response to being called a name if you're a teacher to if you're a nightclub bouncer, or a copper, or a football player. Jeeze, if people want to cry foul because they got asked to work on Christmas Eve (ffs!) then try working with celebs.
So I would personally need a LOT more context if I was to suggest that Tonda is a 'bully'. And I really wouldn't give a monkeys if that accusation came from Taylor. He's a tough boss? Good. Grow a pair and get on with it.
