Interested what team it is tomorrow, probably go unchanged , but i really think we got through on Adrenaline and effort last week.
i dont think playing Crooks and slater and Gelhardt as number 10 will be good enough in play offs.
didnt Lundstram play in the home game when we battered them in first half, and play pretty well? unless im remembering wrong.
I've been thinking about this. Sergej likes to chuck that really strong front four on but it rarely looks good in practice. And Millwall are maybe the one team I'd change it up for because of the set piece threat. Maybe the pragmatic approach is to get more big men in like Lundstram as you say, maybe also Joseph for one of the attackers. You'd be dropping a better player and my fear then is always that the weaker attacker misses a chance that Belloumi or Gelhardt would've buried, but maybe that's the best approach overall.

Other thing is the two games in three days. We do have a lot of options and I doubt they could mix it up to the extent we could and still be strong. So you could go pragmatic for one leg and then bring in a fresh Gelhardt or whoever for the second. Genuinely don't know what I'd do but I think these are all considerations.

I flagged this on the pod but is slater and Hughes up for two games in three days? Do we need to stagger the line up a bit?

Are we the Millwall of Yorkshire? Both dockers clubs, low achievement and underestimated. No one likes us we don't care, silverware we don't care. Both proper loyal support with no plastics, ghetto mentality, a bit insular maybe but proud, don't know but they aren't like any other London club, poor relations? and we stand seperate from the rest of Yorkshire, maybe Boro do as well?

Every club think they're special, individual and different and that we're somehow superior to other teams' fans in some way, don't we? Fantasy we all accept, rather than admit that we're just part of the machine.

I think the days of City being underestimated are long gone - an established Championship club for twenty years now, with a few cup runs and seasons in the PL under our belt. Probably just seen as any other tricky northern club, but with a better nightlife than Bilbao.

Yeah, probably, who defines whether a club is fashionable or unfashionable anyway, just thinking of parallels, and they are surrounded by cross city rivals, we famously have no rivals.
