How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

They can’t be held responsible for property prices going up which means higher mortgages, when there’s factors like an ever increasing population and shortage of properties which increases demand therefore house prices shoot up.

Interest rates shooting up regularly over these last few years, isn’t the fault of landlords but it does mean higher mortgage payments and most landlords just want these rents to cover these outgoings.

That’s without the insurances and safety checks that need paid for. Also required is a little safety blanket for any repairs or refurbs after a tenant has moved out.
my girls can not rent where we live as it cost around £2000 a month to rent a one bedroom flat and even a room in an HMO is £1000 plus a month.
loads of the properties have been bought simply to rent out and have already paid off the mortgage.
Lots of landlords are companies and are turning homes into HMOs so house prices are going up, but the number of 2, 3 or 4 bedroom homes for families and couples starting out is declining.
8 or 9 houses in our street have become HMOs ... each charging over £1000 amonth and they have turned 3 bedroom homes into 6 bedsit per home.

And all the while local kids cant afford to get anywhere local to live.

And this is in the Woolwich Plumstead Abbey Wood area... where houses go for around £400,000 <laugh>

Jesus Christ. My mortgage for a detached house is 1/4 that.

But I do live up north and stuff.

So have to deal with low life expectancy and preventable diseases taking my children before their 3rd birthday.

With the local elections today I can’t help thinking of great grandad today, fought all the way from the Normandy beaches to Berlin.

He’d have been proud to vote Reform…..

That said, he was in the 21st Panzer Division…

A variant on the theme by Bernard Manning :

My grandfather died at Auschwitz. Very sad. He fell out of the machine gun tower.

If only the Germans had thought of this in 1932.

I mean yeah having some bloke ranting about Gaza in broken English for a council position in Wandsworth isn’t ideal.

But Boris Johnson wasn’t born here.
Then that includes boris

He was owned by the Russians anyway, same as nige hence the unofficial merging of the two partys

So weve got labour infiltrated by ****s and sexual predators and headed by the most disliked pm in history and a prolific liar

Cons finished and folded into reform

Lib dems as irrelevant as ever

Greens infiltrated by the uk branch of hamas

Good choices (say with jason cundy accent)

And the various independents from the usual ****hole areas of the uk that cant seem to speaks a word of english

A bit more than infiltrated but yeah. Was nice when they talked about the environment and why housing is important but couldn’t be built where they live because of some endangered badgers living nearby. Simpler times.

VOTE Sucky.

Some people voting today are going to be upset that Susan Hall isn’t PM tomorrow morning
