I don't think we will find another LedleyJust need to find a new Ledley now
Expect Micky and Romero to leave this summer unfortunately.
Will miss VdV

I think Vicario is a top ten goalkeeper in the league. Spurs need a top six. When we had prime Hugo we had a top two as only De Gea was better in my opinion.I’ve never like Vicario, don’t rate him at all and think he’s too panicky to be a top keeper, I really feel he doesn’t make his defenders feel confident.
De Zerbi has done well as manager so far. He’s got faults but levels above Tudor and Frank.
If Spurs survive then he will deserve to be backed in the summer (both sales and purchases)

I agree
It's what I saw when he played for Chelsea and Palace
If we stay up, and it's still a big if, I still expect to lose Romero regardless. I'm less sure about VdV going for some reason, but even so, we will have Danso and Dragusin left, with a developing Phillips and most importantly, the chance to bring Vuskovic into the ranks.I don't think we will find another Ledley

Green shoots certainly! They played some cohesive attacking football and the passion was evident: Porro, Palhinha especially, but you could see it from 1-14. Tel is a very mature 19 year old and seems to take responsibility and Richarlison, for all his faults, is a workhorse and sets a good example.I saw a Spurs TEAM, they seemed to know what they needed to do and what to expect of their team mates. For most of this season they have looked lost.
I reckon we’ll sell Dragusin if we stay up. Though IF we do survive, Senesi joins, likewise Robertson. If we stay up, and it's still a big if, I still expect to lose Romero regardless. Ledley King was a unique talent, but the latter has the capacity to be a very special player.
Regardless, we won't have European football next year, which will likely act as a deterrent to get/keep players, but I'm sure that we should still be able to pick up an experienced CB to provide some additional stability. (Ben Davies will still be on the books, although tbh, much as I admire him as a player and individual, I think his playing days are probably behind him)
Of course, should the worst happen, then all bets are off!!![]()
It was noticeable how few players posted messages when Frank was sacked.
I did used to like Vic and still think he cops a bit too much flack, like I said if he done those kicks instead of Kinsky there’d be four or five on here calling for him to burned at the stake but he definitely needs moving on. Rumours he’s agreed terms with Inter anyway so that’ll be good.
But all seriousness I really do think De Zerbi more than any player deserves the plaudits so far. Gallagher’s post-match comments today really sounds like the players already love him and have taken to him. I don’t think we ever really had any positive comments from them with Frank or Tudor which is telling.
I hadn’t really assessed how much of a genius chess move that was by Villa yesterday.
It’s one thing resting their players so they’re fresh for Thursday, but the nature of them playing us, as well as Forest playing today was a stroke of genius.
They’ve forced Forest to play a decent side today by giving us 3 points, and meaning Forest are now looking over their shoulder in the premier league. Which in turn, means that their strongest players are very likely to be playing tonight (as they can’t afford to rest them) and Thursday, which is great news for Villa in terms of forest’s fatigue, and over turning the 1-0 deficit.

That’s taking the IF to the extremes of probable though.
You might as well just say if West Ham get less points.
Spurs really should be safe now. Big swing this weekend, but it can change again.
That is a very interesting take on it that I had not really thought about until you mentioned it! If that was intentional, and they win on Thursday then it's a stroke of genius....I hadn’t really assessed how much of a genius chess move that was by Villa yesterday.

You must remember the rules that whenever we do well it is purely due to some massive issue with the opposition. If we get past Leeds on Monday there will be similar headlines...This is a supposedly 'serious' journalist..

So much of this crap on the socials today, you would have thought that Villa had played the kids yesterday of the 7 changes 6 were full internationals, yes they were terrible but we deserve some credit for taking them to task in the opening 30 minutes and not allowing them to find any rhythm.
Agreed, but in this scenario it was stated above that GD would matter. That’s taking the IF to the extremes of probable though.

Two excellent freebies. Don’t get why we don’t tap into the freebie market more. There’s always some really good deals to be had.
Anyone else think it's unfair to give Forest the Monday game. Villa having 24 hours more rest is an advantage.I hadn’t really assessed how much of a genius chess move that was by Villa yesterday.
