Dunno why but as I read Chazz likes cottage pie I thought, that’d make an excellent band name.

Straight in at number 5 it’s Chazz likes cottage pie with cheesy meaty love in a casserole dish.

I’ve had several beers in the Spanish sun.

Sorry.

Homemade cheese and garlic chapati’s for lunch. Well quick and easy to make btw.

Here’s my recipe

50g atta flour per 18cm chapati
70-80% hydration (salted water room temp, not cold)
Splash of oil in dough

Mix bulk SLOWLY stirring in water and targeting piles of dry powder in the bowl until it’s all stuck together, then rest 10-15 mins. Knead bulk then rest 10+mins. Split into ~80g balls then rest 5-10 mins. Roll out with pin using flour each side of the atta.

I use ready-made tortillas, much quicker and rolled up with stuff inside taste just the same I reckon.

They’re really no hassle to make from scratch, about 10 minutes work all in if that. Just need to start them 30-40 minutes in advance.
