You’ll love it.
Don’t wear anything light coloured that doesn’t clean easily! <laugh>
I’ll be seeing Dave McCabe playing at the Tribute to Mani gig in Manchester in May
No idea who the headliners will be, if anyone, but it looks an interesting gig anyway so we grabbed some tickets.
Lunchtime until late…I’d best pace myself!!!

Good line-up above, should be a good tribute and hopefully one or two surprise guests turn up to enhance the experience.

Mani was very popular and well thought of by many 'big' artists(no detriment to Mani himself, the Stone Roses were massive) .I heard many years ago that when The Clash received confirmation that they were to be inducted into the 'Hall of fame' and were asked to reform and play, that as Paul Simonon had flatly refused,Strummer had asked Mani to step in,obviously that failed to happen as Joe passed away.

As for Mick Rossi,Slaughter and the dogs, that's a name from the past.I've still got their first single(cranked up really high) and still in really good condition, big part of the Manchester punk scene...

Yeah it looks like it should be quite a gig.
Daughter lives just outside Stockport too so it’ll save us the price of a hotel!

I've got tickets for that too.

Seen Cast three times and John Power once. I've never seen Tom Meighan or Peter Hook.

I'm hoping the headliners will be the three living Stone Roses with a guess basis. My guess is though it'll be Primal Scream.
Possible, but would take some travelling. They’re playing in Sweden the night before and the night after.
We’ll see.

Wanted to go see James on this tour, not seen them. But the only gig would could get to was the Liverpool one. Which happened to clash with Grand National Weekend. The cheapest hotel for one night was £350.
Yeah that’s mental! Definitely worth seeing, they are amazing, but so are the Doves. I hope you get a chance another time.
