Nah, I've heard Dublin has been reading on here and decided that we're releasing or selling any player who's ever had an injury as they are all "made of glass" and "injury prone".

I remember people last summer having concerns about Ajayi and Famewo because they were injury prone.

Said it about Kamara the other day but I also wonder whether Matazo is a Sergej type of player. He seems to like strong, athletic midfielders and Matazo from what I remember is more tippy-tappy and not so physical. Even if he is fully fit and raring to go he might just prefer Crooks, Lundstram or whoever else.

I seem to remember Matazo being quite assertive, mind you it's been a long time since I saw him...

Well that can't be right as we currently have amir, Crooks and lunny and none of those are athletic

Crooks and Lundstram are big and strong which I think is a big part of what he likes. Amir not so much but some would argue he's good at intercepting and winning the ball back through positioning and stuff. I'm still not really sure myself. Matazo though I just remember being quite a flashy sort of player, the game against Stoke that he scored in sticks out cos I remember him doing stepovers and stuff at 1-0 up and of course we went on to lose.

Only thing I remember about him was that it was reported on here that the Sunderland fans were raving about him when we played them. Hmm was that the match that he go injured?
Even so I am a White Horse guy. We have to find someone who can at least get on the horse ride onto the field and save the day. Matazo might just be the man. "Cry ‘God for Elliot, City, and Saint Acun!’"

I remember that he looked quality. However, it's unrealistic to expect him to hit the ground running. He's bound to be well short of match sharpness and his best (unfortunately, as we desperately need his quality in midfield).

I mean if a player only consistently plays 15 games a season for 3/4 years there’s obviously a problem. Collyer and Famewo fit that bracket. They just seem to pick up injuries or knocks.

Age may be catching up with Ajayi. To be honest I hope Belloumi and Matazo go injury free the next few games. A big pre season for them would make a massive difference. Drameh is another but not to the extent of Colleyer an Famewo.
