I can't remember there being one on the right before.
It was there when I was wallowing in it following our promotion in 1983, I was rather tired and emotional. Full of mud and water a couple of taxis wouldn't drive me home, the Lada driver had no problem in doing so! :emoticon-0138-think

In the photo they have managed to make the two ponds at the top end green, the same colour as the grassy bits. Makes the over 20 million even more inexplicable.
Why are you obsessing over the ponds that are clearly still there? We have an abundance of water around the city centre, do you even complain about the azure blue of Princes Dock? Many cities with huge investment would kill for the large green space of Queens Gardens in their city centres, Leeds and Manchester have nowt like it. Looks great to me and the joined up Maritime Hull theme is almost complete. Good work.
