Second blip for me, and significantly worse than the first of two years ago. Trend is backwards. Squad is poor. Football is awful. Spending saved the club from relegation, not just Howe.
As I said, when you’ve lost the crowd, the players and the excuses become so thin, it’s an impossible task. Always has been, at every club, ever. Personally think sticking with him into next season will be a very big mistake. The club needs a manager who can deal with more than one game a week and who has more than one plan.
Not a narrative mate.
Now this is where I agree. I've said the same about the 2 game a week thing and I don't get the "no plan B" theory of his.
I think he was off his ****ing tits going all out in the champs league. Should have just bagged the cash, grabbed the co-eficient points and said "thank you very much" until we get a deeper squad with better quality.
However......This "lost the crowd" bit is online bollox. The boo's weren't for Howe. The boo's were for the players. Only chant that kept going steady all game was "Eddie Howe's Black n White army" from the Gallowgate.
Without a doubt there is people turning in the ground but its still very much the minority and even then it's not them demanding he be sacked its more along the lines of "it's maybe getting to that time".
I still standby the theory club will want someone with global recognition as next managerieal appointment so anybody thinking we'll appoint Iraola, Glasner, Fabregas, Ilzer Hoeneb or the like I fear will be mighty dissapointed.
And as for that if Spurs had won we were in a relegation battle comment........ Thats just ****ing ridiculous. ****s haven't won a game in forever and they're all of a sudden going to overcome a 9 points lead (had they won) in last 5 games?????
