Why do people keep mentioning Xavi? I'm not saying he won't be good as a manager but managing Barcelona isn't that difficult.
Managing Barcelona isn't that difficult? What an odd opinion to have. Tell that to Cruyff, Van Gaal, Sir Bobby, Koeman and Xavi himself who were all sacked or forced out by the Barca board no matter how well they had done. One manager has made it look easy and that is Pep and even he said "four years at Barcelona felt like an eternity". Every other manager at that club in their entire history has struggled.

Clearly I was talking about picking up points and not the politics. In the same way any old manager could do well at Celtic or rangers

3rd, 4th or 6th in a supposed two horse race league ... and there you are saying it isn't difficult to manage Barcelona. Check. ;) Anyway I've had my fun. I'll be off now. Have a good rest of your weekend.
No one ever mentioned it was because it is a 2 horse race. I simply says it's not difficult to manage that team to lots of points considering the starting point. Maybe Xavi would come to us and take us to next level or maybe he'd do a Gerrard at Aston Villa. This to me suggests he is not elite....... Not yet

100% Matthaus, Gazza, Baggio, Maradona, Roger Milla!! Toto Schillaci.

Who will we have this year? :( Lamine Yamal and Mbappe. Yay.
The 1990 world cup was utter ****ing dogshit and universally regarded as one of the worst cups ever, if not the worst. The football was utterly tedious which lead to the introduction of the back pass rule.

Maradona was dire in that world cup, as we're Argentina who bored their way to the final, and very nearly won it with the most anti-football team ever.

So glad Brighton got a equaliser otherwise we were looking at a relegation battle. We will get battered by Arsenal and Spurs play Wolves. It would have been sqeaky bum time.

Howe is now at Bruce levels after £500m net spend. Just wow. We need an Elite manager, someone European players know and respect. It will cost alot but just do it. We have no problem spending a kings ransom on utter ****e so break the bank on an elite manager

For me announce that he is leaving end of the season or something, he deserves a proper send off for what he has done for the club and not a half arsed lap of honour with boo's etc, but it's definately coming to the end for him here.

I'm beginning to think Charlie is an American

It's not statistics, it's the fact the matches were dull and rubbish.

Literally every world cup since then has been better.

The information you posted clearly indicates everyone enjoyed it but statistically and critically wasn't great.

So basically only nerds obsessed with numbers and miserable critics didn't like it.

You're wrong.

No it does indicate that at all, it says the tournament is remembered for the music and fashion, and the actual football played was dull. That's not talking statistically, it's talking about the quality of the football played, which was bad, with the tournament being dominated by Argentina playing total anti-football.

It does indicate exactly that.

Stats and what Argentina do don't matter..entertainment isn't menasures in the number of goals... It's what happened.
