I'll take that with a pinch of salt considering the source .You must log in or register to see images
I think even Kemi Badenoch had to admit that the demands she was making around drilling wouldn’t provide any benefit to us, which is why she has quietly pulled back from this.I'll take that with a pinch of salt considering the source .
Not sure why you are saying that as it’s generally recognised for work on environmental issues, and considered credible?I'll take that with a pinch of salt considering the source .

1. Universities have a clear bias and an agenda when it comes to left wing policies. Not sure why you are saying that as it’s generally recognised for work on environmental issues, and considered credible?
well considering they are recognised for their work in environmental issues i suspect they went into it with an agenda plus since a huge chunk of the households in this country heat their houses by gas boilers have they factored in the cost of changing to electric heating .and that bald statement does not show which costs they have included - example the huge upgrade to the Grid which would be requiredNot sure why you are saying that as it’s generally recognised for work on environmental issues, and considered credible?
You do know that the majority of North Sea drilling would be for gas?well considering they are recognised for their work in environmental issues i suspect they went into it with an agenda plus since a huge chunk of the households in this country heat their houses by gas boilers have they factored in the cost of changing to electric heating .and that bald statement does not show which costs they have included - example the huge upgrade to the Grid which would be required
1. Energy independence is not really left wing is it. Even our previous right wing government has recognised this?1. Universities have a clear bias and an agenda when it comes to left wing policies.
2. Smith school of enterprise and the environment - Hardly going to release a report saying it could be beneficial.
I don't really understand who's right or wrong in this debate, because I ain't got a clue, I just don't like Ed Miliband lol (honesty).
However, I do like listening to Ed Conway, because he explains it to me like I'm a 9 year old, only trouble is it's 16 mins long, but worth listening to, over Supply and Demand, and our current and future needs for LNG.
I still don't know who is right or wrong but I will let you decide for yourselves and then tell me...
There is an oil one he does as well that explains the various grade differences, but don't want to chuck too much at you guys...

i knew that Gas would be the first to be exploited but not aware of split of requested licences .You do know that the majority of North Sea drilling would be for gas?
The national grid upgrades are going ahead whether we drill or not (I assume you are talking about electrical distribution) as that’s also needed for wind generation.
Seems strange to dismiss an article that basically backs up the UK’s position even before the war in Iran had much of an impact. As I always say, “follow the money” and there is a reason that the energy companies aren’t chasing after it.
I took three things from that,I don't really understand who's right or wrong in this debate, because I ain't got a clue, I just don't like Ed Miliband lol (honesty).

2. They didn’t mention the environment, so that’s just speculation on your part?
It’s the main policy of the Green party. When was the last time you seen right wing people marching for Just Stop oil?1. Energy independence is not really left wing is it. Even our previous right wing government has recognised this?

It’s me mate. I’m right and they’re wrong.I don't really understand who's right or wrong in this debate, because I ain't got a clue, I just don't like Ed Miliband lol (honesty).

I'm quite pleased how we've been mainly unaffected by this crisis in the Strait at the mo. Especially when I've previously read Australians didn't have fuel at the pumps, The German Lufthansa was grounded and KLM the Dutch airline were cancelling hundreds of flights. I'm sure we will start seeing the impact in our groceries soon, but I've kept an eye and I've not seen anything silly as of yet. It’s me mate. I’m right and they’re wrong.
