As well. I was talking about football sanctions and as much as they would like to, the FA can't imprison anyone.
The Liverpool mods at their finest again http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/109902-So-a-racism-ban-and-fine-for-De-Gea-then Apparently this ridiculous thread is fine yet my reasonable comment should be deleted for having the audacity to ask for some evidence. My comment's still there if you look at the quote in the 4th post.
At every opportunity, the 'Pool fans are now going to try and force a racism rumour on another teams player. Personally I never head about an incident involving De Gea (apart from stealing a donut! ). I'm sure if it were true, Sky and BBC would have been all over it, or have I been in some time warp that's made me elude these stories???
I'd wait for their Terry verdict before saying things like that. Not that I'm pee'd off because I now need to reshuffle my fantasy team again... Great logic there: Suarez is racist, but so is everyone else, so ban everyone or don't ban Suarez!!!
What a load of nauseating bollocks. I love Spurs but if VDV, for example, abused somebody racially, I would wholeheartedly back the punishment. He would be discrediting the club and himself. Suarez has played in Holland which has multicultural slant to it's teams, so he knows the score. Cracking on that he used the term he did as one of "endearment" is a crock of ****. The "evidence" they are looking for must be there, (Sky have lots of cameras and as one of the main men, there must have been one on Suarez for most of the match,) no way would such a punishment be handed down if it wasn't.
My mate who's ITK reckons that Suarez claimed that he was offering Evra a drink and that a F****** N***** is a little known South American cocktail comprising half a pint of Tequila, a bottle of Guinness and 100 mg of Viagra. Joking apart, good on the FA for doing something rather than just blattering it into touch. Hopefully they will be consistent and give Terry at least the same punishment if not more. Being the England captain they should make an example out of him. Personally, if he is found guilty, I think he should forfeit his right to take any further part in this season and his remaining wages for this term should be donated to FA charities.
An annnouncement from the CPS regarding Terry is imminent. Apparently they have to to locate and inform Terry and then then a statement will be released....
You're right, deedub, it's all about what words and actions mean in Uruguay. For example, when Suarez raised his middle finger to the Fulham fans he was very surprised at the reaction because in Uruguay it means "congratulations on beating us fairly, I look forward to the next contest between our two sides. It's in April, isn't it?".
I look forward to the next contest between our two sides. It's in April, isn't it?". by Yid Vicious Are Spurs playing Spurs then YV? that should be a deffo Six pointer!
The Terry case is different to Suarez because the CPS is involved. If the CPS find no evidence to charge Terry, it's hard to see how the FA can charge him. If on other hand ...... Terry could do three months with regard to the FA if not with regard to HMP. The big immediate question will be does Terry play tomorrow? He'd want to play I'm sure, but Chelsea will have a dilemma I'd have thought.
No. Where did you get that from? Breaking News: Due to the severity of the situation FIFA have increased the FA's punishment of Suarez. Blatter has ordered Suarez to serve a two handshake sentence, whilst Evra will have to reciprocate after being charged with one count of "blabbing" and will serve Suarez's 8 game ban for "being black".
