I think the effort is there mind. And they can be dangerous, as they do have pace.Obviously biased , but I do wonder if they’ll win another game. If the players are really trying, then they’re not capable and must be getting more demoralised losing games in second half , no manager plan b.
If they aren’t trying ….
That's true. But I think people wonder, rightly in my view, how he doesn't get booked every single game. He's such a big clumsy fecker, clattering into players from behind all the time. This destroys the Urban myth that Joe Linton never gets booked... he has the worse record for any player during his time in the Premier
Dominic is clearly a very special onlooking little soldier bless him. This was part of a letter sent to the Premier League on behalf of a Newcastle United fanzine prior to the takeover.
I know it sounds comical but the author was deadly serious.
This is why it's pointless attempting to treat them as normal human beings.
Dear Mr Masters
As an onlooker following the Newcastle United takeover, I wish to register my bafflement at the obscene duration fans of the club have had to wait for an answer regarding the PIF/PCP bid for the club.
You have placed one of your football clubs — one of your most vehemently and passionately supported — in a state of paralysis.
Newcastle United, the Premier League and Tyneside in general would have benefited from such significant investment. You may have had reasons for rejecting the bid, but not giving a definitive ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for more than 100 days is inexplicable.
You have contributed to supporters of Newcastle United suffering from increased mental health issues. Your process needs seriously looking into, and I will be proposing a full investigation of the Premier League with the relevant governing bodies. You have a clear-cut conflict of interest regarding a relationship with Qatar, and it appears this was pivotal in your failure to deliver affirmative action.
I would like a prompt response to this email if possible, as I believe the supporters of the club deserve transparent clarification, and following today’s announcement that the deal is dead, you MUST come forward with some sort of explanation for millions of distressed members of the Toon Army.
Best Regards,
Dominic Kureen
I hope they get him, he's utter gash.they think they can get Ugarte from Man U

At least Ross had the excuse of being a fairly new coach and managing under twit and twat when he was here. Howe had already been a manager for 10 years by the time Ross rocked up here. You'd think with all that experience he'd have learned a bit more by now...Reminds me of us under Jack Ross, no plan B. I wonder where he is now...

He really is shyte mind. The one and only Uruguayan ever to set foot on a pitch here who has no fight in him.I hope they get him, he's utter gash.
……. then can we look forward to summer of them squirming as we make a few carefully selected quality signings , while they at best panic buy more overpriced failures and/or find that no one wants to come.I know we're not supposed to tempt fate and fair enough, some people are happy to be pessimistic.
(Ignore this if that's the case.)
But, I have to say, this is the 'most real' it's been for us and the Mags so far this season.
Newcastle are out of every competition, had to hand their cup back and are looking unlikely to qualify for Europe.
Their next away game is at Arsenal who are desperate to win, then two relegation battlers in Forest and West Ham.
None of our games are easy but none are frightening either and they have four points to catch up.
I'd like top half, I'd like Europe but if all we get is a derby double, and finishing higher on 1+GD, I'll be delighted.
Of course the Mags would trot out a million and one excuses, from injuries & PSR, to playing too many games but the record books will always show that we were better than them ...
... yes, that's right, better than the richest club in the world!!!
On MOTD Foster and Nevin were both praising Eddie Howe as they all seem to do. Carragher and Neville are the same on Sky, fair enough but I don’t really get it.……. then can we look forward to summer of them squirming as we make a few carefully selected quality signings , while they at best panic buy more overpriced failures and/or find that no one wants to come.
All true, the most damning part of it is that the recruitment was orchestrated by Howe and a family member. On MOTD Foster and Nevin were both praising Eddie Howe as they all seem to do. Carragher and Neville are the same on Sky, fair enough but I don’t really get it.
Whatever the case another catastrophic transfer window, like the summer, and they’re in trouble both financially and football wise. Their current strikers have at least halved in value which can’t keep happening. They got lucky with Isak but they’re back to square one.
They have players who are nowhere near as good as the believe in my opinion …
… their recruitment stinks.
