Tottenham manager Roberto de Zerbi speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Sorry because we didn't deserve to lose the game. We played a good game, maybe not enough to win but we were unlucky in a few situations in the first half.

"I cannot say anything to players because they gave their best in terms of attitude and spirit.”

Easily pleased isn’t he …

Shows how far we have come when we kept playing those lovely triangles with one touch passing in midfield. Diarra looked way better and ELF has such vision. It might not have come off today, but hes such a clever footballer.

Alderete was back to his best, hes just solid and composed.

As Smug said, theres still Ballard to come back and Hume there who never let's us down.

We we're talking before the game about the ages of the players, its frightening how young they all are and what they could grow into

Come on smug have you never been fishing - you have to play the catch it's all sport <whistle>
Trying to ‘fish’ for oppo fans when you’ve just lost again and are bottling towards the championship is the exact kind of mentality that sees teams hurtling towards the championship.

So, the team and fans are aligned.

Back in and had a tremendous kebab for me tea.

Great day out and met up with some great people from on here in the fans museum.
@Gordon Armstrong, thank you for the ticket, and the bag of sweets, they went down a treat.
@Smug in Boots, I dont know how you do it mate, but absolutely fair play to you. The two ladies you sorted tickets for were just in front of where me, @Gordon Armstrong and @kirkyboy were, I think they enjoyed it.
Pleasure to meet you all today, there was a canny turn out in the museum.

Decentish game, I dont think we played particularly great, but tbf, we didn't need to. Spurs had no fight whatsoever, played like they were already on the beach.
Hard to pick a motm, but thought Reinildo was superb.
