I’ve said all along Hughes hasn’t been right lately. He’s always at his best when he’s really aggressive, I think the injury making him play at 60%.

Sergej himself said not too long ago that he had a hernia in his groin and would probably need surgery at the end of the season.
At least that offers some explanation for his recent performances and suggests that it isn’t just a significant drop in form.
Suspect that we’ll only see him from the bench in an emergency now during the remaining games.
You wouldn’t be saying that if Egan and Ayaji both get injured last game. A 50% Hughes is better than having to play Lundstram CB which is what would happen if all our CBs got injured.

I had two last April got them done , it slowed my crawl up massively !
