Now I'm watching the match again, with a lovely glass of rum and ice, feeling that glow again.
Even better that I left Scotland without a ticket and strolled past all the Mags, the Mag stewards and the Mag coppers

Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris, speaking to Sky Sports on how they got the 2-1 win over Newcastle: "Through our identity. We didn't start well with an early mistake. We stayed composed, well-aligned with what we wanted to do. It's a tough place, they are intense with their crowd but the team reacted well. We were emotional at half-time because it matters, this game is important and we didn't want to lose. We stayed together, pushed together and the second half was good for that. We suffered at times but we enjoyed some opportunities and played good football."
On the emotion: "It was about the whole event. We want to win and to be proud of our club. I really appreciated the second half, even the way the team reacted after the goal we conceded, stayed calm, stayed composed and seize your opportunity when it comes."
On Brian Brobbey: "He is getting better day after day. He is impressive. We needed more time as a team to find the right connections. The way we can use his strength especially. Now he is becoming a big threat and it's big for the club."
On what Sunderland were trying to achieve by playing out from the back for the Newcastle goal: "I don't know. You can make mistakes. It's a hard phase when we start from a dead ball. I know the intention, but the execution wasn't good."
On what this result does for the team going forward: "We started this game with six or seven players injured. It means the others stepped up and it shows the quality of the group. Today they did really well, I am proud and really pleased."
On the reported abuse from the crowd towards Lutsharel Geertruida: "I don't really know what happened, but it's not acceptable. The referee acted well because he reported the problem which is the first step. He [Geertruida] seems ok, but we will see."

It was special as we were missing 6 regulars starters and the lads that came in gave absolutely everything for the shirt and for us.
We might not have the best squad, but we have a squad that has a belief, it might not always work but when it does its beautiful

Just seen the two daughters, one son in law and two happy grandkids off after they all came round to have a derby day at our house. Absolutely loved every minute of it . HAWAY ME BONNY LADS!!!!
Imagine when we add some layers and depth in summer mate.
We can have a genuine run at Europe next season, we really do have a shot this year.
We win next week and we are ****ing game face for the run in.
Tough last 3 but if we take momentum from today we can do something special.

This time we're doing well, in the PL, and above them with a handful of games to go.
There's no talking your way out of losing home and away, especially as we gave them their only goal ...
... the offices on Tyneside, tomorrow, will be full of people who suddenly have some very important work they simply must get on with
This ride is beyond our wildest dreams. Yes we have had some lows, but by jebus the highs are immense.
6 missing today and to a man they stepped up and got through it, might not be pretty but the desire from them all, the will to win. Give me that every day of the week

When we got the corner just before it I said to me pal ‘we score here’ and about 6-8 lads around me were all ‘aye aye’ got ****ing degrees when it was a foul and free kick to them
Seconds later, we all chose pandemonium. Just a beautiful moment, a beautiful way to do it.
Ramsey knocked us back thinking we weren’t good enough for him. Have that you little prick (good keeper though)
God I feel drained now. The nerves beforehand and during, the drink and the celebrations and more drink afterwards. What a brilliant day!
Just re watching it all again 
We’ve said it all season mind every time we press on we are a good side. We need to bring a couple in that allows us to sustain that.
Talbi, flaws he’s shown, promise he’s show . Big moments though.
I think he will absolutely glow up next season.
