Agree, the amount of flags flying on lampposts and painted roundabouts from 'patriots' that weren't patriotic enough to do it 10 years ago
No mention of communities declaring it is “their” area, telling people born here to dress differently or stay away? Communities more concerned about the third world hell hole they left than the country they have chosen to live in and seemingly determined to drag this country down to the same level?

Interesting that you talk about division but you are staunchly taking one side of that division. I don't see a divided community, I see a society that is working it's way through integrating different ideals. I don't believe the UK needs to cling onto outdated principles, I think it needs a way to fit in the world as it is now and the multicultural life we now live. Before you go on about 'migrants' doing bad things ruining our society, I agree that anyone who breaks the law deserves punishing, and I do see that as an area that needs work as the balance isn't quite right at the moment. I'm sure it will come with time, but I don't think taking sides and trying to blame 'the other side' helps.
You don't see a divided community? Hardly surprising considering Hull has 83.9% identifying as white British...Go and have a look at London,Leicester,Birmingham and some of the areas within, come back and see if your attitude has differed.

Integration is a myth,it hasn't worked and it won't as long as local councils continue to throw ethnic groups into the same area.

In saying that,I had a Pakistani neighbour many years ago and everything was going swimmingly in terms of children playing together, polite good mornings over the fence etc...Until the woman rattled the letter box one evening and asked my wife to do Aisha's homework with her as she was,(the Mother),tired. My wife politely refused as we had 4 of our own that required assistance.

Letter box rattled on Monday morning and it was the Council threatening eviction as my wife had 'racially abused' her...True story, and it cost me £335 for 2 lawyers letters as testimony to my wife's character and threatening the Council with legal action should they proceed with any talk of eviction.

Integration,what a crock of sh!te!!

Don’t see much integrating of ideals from a certain community.
What about the people that emigrate from here then just ensconse themselves in British communities and don't learn the language of the country they go to live in ?

Just as bad. Though they aren’t trying to alter those countries the way ones arriving here want to. Will be the sort who go on all inclusive holidays and never venture outside the hotel complex,

I'm pretty certain that Brits going to live abroad have altered the places they have moved to.

Not as much as ones forcing their dietary requirements on our kids and other places selling and serving food. No blocking streets to pray and waking up people with caterwauling calls to prayer. Nondeclaringnthis is our area and telling locals to stay away or how to dress.

So they are making our kids eat Chicken Vindaloo for breakfast ?
And there was you saying they can't be bothered to cook earlier

I would say those flags and painted roundabouts are declaring it as "their" area

Is it? With all these immigrants taking our jobs? Unfortunately (fortunately) I have the golden handcuffs where my job pays well and I can't afford to give that up for a job I enjoy
I never said anything about immigrants taking jobs and I hope you're not implying I did.As for your job, don't ****ing moan about it if you don't like it..Can't you just enjoy the money and ask to work public holidays that you don't participate in?

You didn't come across as overly tolerant to people putting up flags on lamp posts but I suppose you'd already judged them and decided you didn't respect their beliefs.

I'm tolerant of it, I've never opposed it or taken steps to stop it. I'd merely question the reason behind it, but I'd be open to discuss it

I never suggested you did, it was a reference to the generally rolled out excuse. I'm not moaning about my job, I'm happy to take the money, but why the **** should I work extra hours for people that believe in something I don't believe in
