What about?...On May 2, 1982, the British nuclear-powered submarine HMS Conqueror used underwater torpedoes to sink the Argentine cruiser ARA General Belgrano during the Falklands War. The submarine fired three World War II-era Mark 8 torpedoes, two of which struck the cruiser, causing it to sink. That wasn't the first time since WW2 either.
