And 45 mins for U21s , when he looked totally disinterested and got replaced at HT! I'm disappointed as I thought it could have been a right coup for us. Wonder how much it really is 'past demons' or that he's actually just a waster so to speak? Everyone seems to feel sorry for him, excusing him, etc - maybe he deserves the sympathy ...but maybe he doesn't? Honest question, just an observation.
I’ve not got much doubt that he’s a bit of a twat. The reason I think he deserves sympathy is probably the only reason he’s a bit of a twat is because he’s had leeches and hangers on telling him he’s amazing since he was 13/14 years old. Then he was given a big contract when he broke into man United’s first team. Loads of these kids don’t stand a chance.

Does that factor in the u21s not counting?

If so, tough call.

Yes, there are loads of U21s registered who don't count towards the limit. Most are academy players who aren't in first team consideration but Gyabi for instance is also in that list. I wasn't including them in the numbers if quoted though as they don't affect the 25.

I think it's gutting to lose Belloumi but frankly, we've played well enough without him. I'd rather a lad of his talent spent his time getting fit and fully recovering in time for pre season, keep fit by playing the U21s.

It's dicey because if we did make the playoffs, he's the sort of option you want to be able to bring on. Looking at the squad list now, it's either going to be Ndala or Collyer (who still needs to get back to full fitness). If they're not guaranteed starters then presumably the financial situation at the club was explained to the player (regarding why there are so many loans) upon their arrival and they were ok with it.
Leaving out Collyer having just loaned him would be ridiculous.

Yes but just because some twat tells you you're great, it doesn't mean you have to believe them. Grow up a bit is what I'm thinking.

Agreed. Joseph and Coyle will both surely be ahead of Collyer on the exclusion list?

We should hijack the Devine Mukasa to Leicester deal....and get ourselves another loan player....or swap for Ndala.
