A very poor performance against the already relegated Sunderland too, or was that the other season?
I remember Pickford in goal for Sunderland having the game of his life.
The Palace away game on the last Sunday, early kick off too was the killer. Many of us got inside the ground when we were already two nil down and the game was already lost. I poured a pint over a cockneys head in the Wetherspoons after the game for calling me a 'Northern ****'. Waste of a pint, even at wetherspoon prices.

That was the most pumped up for a game I was that season and the manner of the loss to Palace was absolutely shocking. Was still in our hands at that point.

I was right behind the goal for that and he had done outrageous saves tbh. I remember one, think it may have been Niasse headed towards goal from a couple of yards and somehow Pickford flipped to his right and saved it, some reactions.

Squad numbers are important, as I’m sure @PLT will agree. For too long, the #11 shirt has not had a worthy wearer. Sinik stunk it up for three years and then it was given to Akintola. I did think it would make sense for Belloumi to wear #11 (a proper winger’s number) and Gelhardt could wear #10. Alas, this was ruined when Belloumi decided to wear #10 and Akintola poached the vacant #11. Gelhardt had to settle for #21. I imagine #11 will become vacant sooner rather than later and will be up for grabs in the summer. If Gelhardt returns, does he take it? Or will Joffy and Mo come to an agreement and do swapsies so that the natural order of things prevails and Mo wears #11 and Joffy #10 to soothe my OCD.

This is important and the future of the club hangs in the balance. On a related note, if we make it to the Prem, we can’t be slumming it in an Oxen kit. Has to be Umbro, Adidas or Hummel. Thinking about those Premier League squad numbers and font next season. The tasteful thickness of them. Oh my god, they even have the Premier League logo at the bottom.

You can't be that bothered about numbers when you harp on about number 6 being a midfielder when it's actually a centre half number

European tradition is #4 and #5 are centre-backs and #6 is defensive midfieler.

City are currently following the Latin American tradition of #4 and #6 being centre-backs and #5 being a defensive midfielder.
