But still got relegated.absolutely nothing against Snodgrass but we used the money from that transfer to fund Marco Silva's almost overnight re-build of an horrendous squad and we ended up being a lot better for it

Well yes but we were almost beyond hope before the transfer window and change of managerBut still got relegated.
I was told on good authority that Snodgrass refused to turn out for us at Chelsea away to force the clubs hand on the transfer to West Ham. He claimed an injury when the club doctors couldn't find anything wrong with him.absolutely nothing against Snodgrass but we used the money from that transfer to fund Marco Silva's almost overnight re-build of an horrendous squad and we ended up being a lot better for it
He downed tools. That **** Livermore did the same to force a move to West Brom in the same window. I don’t have a problem with players moving on but the manner in which those two forced transfers through was poor and I can’t stand either of them.I was told on good authority that Snodgrass refused to turn out for us at Chelsea away to force the clubs hand on the transfer to West Ham. Water under the bridge now and he was good for us when he fancied it.

We were 3 points clear with two games to go. Snodgrass going wasn't the cause of us going down. But still got relegated.
Poor warm ups got us relegated. The membership scheme got us relegated.
I was gonna say a bad case of the ****s throughout the squad...but this is sound also.Poor warm ups got us relegated.
A totally gutless team performance at Palace did for us.
Worst ground to get to in Britain, especially for an adopted Jock(Sweaty or whatever else they're labelled)!!A totally gutless team performance at Palace did for us.

Possibly this Saturday,I'm trying to piece it together as we correspondI had the most surreal moment there, I'll tell you next time I see you.
I’m demanding legacy numbers on shirts in the Premier League too. It’s time.Squad numbers are important, as I’m sure @PLT will agree. For too long, the #11 shirt has not had a worthy wearer. Sinik stunk it up for three years and then it was given to Akintola. I did think it would make sense for Belloumi to wear #11 (a proper winger’s number) and Gelhardt could wear #10. Alas, this was ruined when Belloumi decided to wear #10 and Akintola poached the vacant #11. Gelhardt had to settle for #21. I imagine #11 will become vacant sooner rather than later and will be up for grabs in the summer. If Gelhardt returns, does he take it? Or will Joffy and Mo come to an agreement and do swapsies so that the natural order of things prevails and Mo wears #11 and Joffy #10 to soothe my OCD.
This is important and the future of the club hangs in the balance. On a related note, if we make it to the Prem, we can’t be slumming it in an Oxen kit. Has to be Umbro, Adidas or Hummel. Thinking about those Premier League squad numbers and font next season. The tasteful thickness of them. Oh my god, they even have the Premier League logo at the bottom.
