And none on the bench !battling draw as city become the first team ever to finish with 6 men on the pitch.
Yesterday's performance was excellent and breaks a run of scraping wins despite not playing particularly well (yes I bit). Carry on like that with a few new additions and joff on the bench and Preston is poised to be massive for us.Despite our appalling** form (5 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat in the last eight) I think the momentum from yesterday will be overwhelming. We are becoming a little bit unstoppable.
**superb
Thats OK, we were in great form before saints!Southampton's pitch looked to be in good nick. Although they dominated possession, we played some neat football.
Preston's pitch looked very poor yesterday. I fear our performance will revert back to something more like our last home game.
Same thoughts here.We play decent football on a decent pitch and ours is beginning to revert to type.Southampton's pitch looked to be in good nick. Although they dominated possession, we played some neat football.

Just in time for the rugby season and the inevitable mud slinging as to who caused it..Rovers will be in the argument this year.Same thoughts here.We play decent football on a decent pitch and ours is beginning to revert to type.

was thinking of the Blackburn performance. Got there in the end, but the performance was dire.Thats OK, we were in great form before saints!

They certainly would be the first as a game is abandoned if one team has less than 6 players. Would need a rule change.
More or less sums us up from a betting perspective odds wise as well. We've played a lot of games recently where we've been most people's underdog, often away from home and we've got results in those circumstances. When we've been favourites like against Stoke or Sheffield Wednesday we've struggled a bit more. I do think there's something in that. Very different types of games when the expectations are different. Hopefully being away at Preston suits us in a similar way to the other recent away games.
Fewer.
Minimum of 7 I think.
