Hurzeler: It has not been easy for Watson
“We can all feel that he's desperate to play,” said the Brighton head coach in today’s press conference.

“He trained well this week, so he's definitely an option for tomorrow. His start was not easy and you can see that in the amount of his game time.

“It’s not been easy to get into rhythm for him because he always has small issues regarding his body.

“But hopefully now he's getting stronger, physically his body handles the adaptation better, then we see his potential.

“We see his potential every week in training. We see his potential in some game minutes he had fast so far.

“But the main thing for us is really is his body able to adapt, how fast his body's able to adapt to get into his rhythm. And then I'm sure that he can help us.”

Completely agree. He's a really talented player, some forget he was our most expensive signing in the crazy summer window. We've got to where we are at the minute largely without him...think what we can do with him fully fit! I've no idea what the agreement is that we have with Senegal.
I'm hoping he comes on at Brighton, and takes a minor knock, forcing him to withdraw from the AFCON.....excellent recovery and then available for Leeds and onwards. In my humble opinion,he could be a game changer in our attacking play.

Why would you want him to get a knock  if he were fit for Leeds he would be off to AFCON... I think the best scenario is he gets some minutes at the weekend then goes away with Senegal and ramps up to full match sharpness over there, and comes back after AFCON ready to do the business for us.

We can’t expect to get through a season without injuries, suspensions or individual players having blips in form. on the other had we have a very good squad with some players having missed out so far.

I’m certain the club have meticulously prepared for this current situation and the likes of Rigg, Cirkin, Mayenda will be primed and ready to go. Mundle has come back to full fitness at just the right time.

I’m actually looking forward to seeing these changes and who knows who’ll struggle to regain their place when they come home uninjured and fully fit. We’ll somehow have to learn to play with Diarra, in the side, at which point I think we’ll become more expansive and see more goals.

In the meantime I’ll be happy to see more games like the derby where we play compactly and professionally. It’s clear that teams are finding us very difficult to play against and Brighton know they're in for a very tough game.

I can see this being another 1-0 and think it’s time for another ‘Isidor off the wing’ winner …

… Ha’way the Lads!!!

I can see next Isidor goal being a ping from the keeper that takes the entire opposition out and has him one on one with the keeper bit like the Liverpool chance but not many players are catching up whatever his name is did that night (hopefully those weekend but whenever it comes)

Brighton are a good side, particularly at home and our Lads need to be at it with the same intensity as they showed last week. We've got enforced changes, but due to suspensions and AFCON, so have they.
I watched their last home game against West Ham, and Brighton were poor by their standards, so I'm hoping for the same tomorrow.

Our home form is excellent, so it is easy to discount our away form, but we are averaging a point a game away from home and I'll be delighted to carry that on tomorrow, then beat Leeds on 28th to put us on 30 points before the year end, which is an achievable short-term target.

With this team, 3 points is very possible down there, but I'd be very satisfied with a point. I really fancy us to score against a weakened Brighton defence, so if our defence can shut them out, we're more than capable of bagging the win. HTL!!!!!!!!!

As has already been said on here Brighton are good at home, however I think there style of play will suit how RLB likes to set up so think this will be an interesting encounter which may well be decided by who gets it right tactically in transitions.
My money is on Reggie. So will go for a tight 1-2

****ing hell Roefs aswell that cant believe i forgot him.

Reinildo is arguably the best LB ive seen for us in these few short months. Defensively solid and excellent going forward

Unreal business in the summer Roefs has to be up there with best keepers in the league and one of our best, which is high praise in a position we have always been quite blessed in. He is as good as any we have had shot stopping and distribution but he is strong, confident and commanding in the box to the point I struggle to think of any as good at this part! I struggle to remember a keeper in my time who was so good at it all, they all had a weakness, yet to see his!

Not a clue how this one goes.

Massive opportunity for the lads who haven’t been playing so the effort should be there, 4 of the outstanding back 5 remain available, so we still be strong at back.

Sadiki is a big miss but Geertruida looks a very good player he will go well, shame to lose Talbi as he was finding feet but Mundle being back is great, and he’s looked pretty sharp in his cameos.

Good side Brighton so a tough game. Stinks of 1-1 to me. Be happy with that.
