At last! It’s been a while for a normal pre match thread. I was wondering how much longer we could keep the up beat stuff. . But I get your drift, undersell them and Saints likely to overdeliver!!No chance of anything from this match. If we can’t turn over a struggling Norwich, then we aren’t going to halt a flying Coventry. We will go full on Russball, having 70% possession while not leaving our own half.
Ah yes, I’m starting to see the plan…Not according to the world's greatest football tactician, Nathan fittest man in Europe Jones

10 men, we only need 10 men
Can't remember the last time I heard that.
Hahahaha I can’t count. And the good thing is you get to add another player …
I agree with you and the sentiment of the poster you are replying to but I would say it is a bit disturbing that there clearly is a 'pattern' in Saints play already and the players, and I suppose coach, don't seem to know how to improve it. Basically we are like a different team after halftime, which is okay when you are leading 5-1 or 3-0 at the break but as we saw Saturday, it is not so good when it's 0-0, mind you 3-0 nearly ended in disaster and if we were losing 2-0 or something would we get thrashed?Liking the positivity and realism that some would say have no place on this thread of doom.
I do try..Liking the positivity and realism that some would say have no place on this thread of doom.
I might be one of the more positive sounding ones lurking here.I agree with you and the sentiment of the poster you are replying to but I would say it is a bit disturbing that there clearly is a 'pattern' in Saints play already and the players, and I suppose coach, don't seem to know how to improve it. If the fans can already see it I'm hoping those in charge can too....

That's why I would assume Tonda has seen it (based on some of the comments in the press releases etc) but imagine like any skilled activity it takes time to unlearn bad habits.
In his time in charge he's got us attacking well (most of the time), has worked out what our current best team is and is letting them play their natural game, got a chunk of points on the board and got a bit of positivity into the place.
Now if he can sort out the fact we run out of steam in the second half and don't seem to be able to defend a corner in any sane way it will be another step forward.
