Just watched our match on MOTD, god Walcott is fast becoming a jumped up little prick as a so called pundit.

Asked what he thought of the us taking a picture at the end replied " I wonder if they do that in the return fixture". Knob
This game has hurt Newcastle in many more ways than just the result …

… which was a narrow defeat against a hard working and decent PL side.

Questions will be asked about Howe

Dan Burn may have an ‘AFCON length break’

Voldemort trudged off without having made any deliberate impact

Tonali was clearly dejected

Their keeper isn’t a patch on ours

The Mags know they were deservedly beaten

Etc

Etc

Etc

This was way more than three points dropped …

… the defeat will affect them for months.

Bruno and Tonali who were going to destroy us. We haven't played anyone yet and these two are the best midfield in the world and would show us what real players can do iirc?

Didn’t realise Tonali was playing until he got booked and hooked!

I can see Eddie leaving before we play them again,

sat in 12th,

14 points off top. 6 off Yewope places;

9 points off West Ham who occupy the last relegation places.

something clearly isnt right there atm,

will be interesting to see how they attack the Jan window,

because they want to become the biggest club in the world by 2030, they are far from that

I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with how much the club has improved since that defeat against them in the cup! My god does Ballard sum that up we all know what he has done recently but he was probably our best player in that defeat but still had a bad day! He didn’t put a foot wrong yesterday and they didn’t get a sniff with that back 4 plus Reofs!

It seems obvious him and the other lads who were there told Xhaka and the other lads all about last time!

Chuffed for big Dan!
Re Big Dan Ballard. I was saying to the lads walking out the stadium that so far this season, despite playing the likes of Harland, Isak, Sarah, Woltermade etc etc, he has yet to be bettered by anyone. What a player he is, and can see him becoming a true legend!

They are a mess at the top. Their recruitment has been shocking. Night and day with us. If we continue as we are, they should be (and are) absolutely **** scared of us.

Not the title race they were expecting.

It was a very underwhelming performance by the beheadies. Considering the funds shelled out for the team that is for the 2nd season in a row in the Champions League. Not sure what they paid for Voldemort, ( it wasn't worth it) Gordon and Elanga down the wings were supposed to tear us a new one... they were subbed in the 2nd half.
Whilst there were very few chances for either team... by and large we bossed the game. The commentator at point said, the world is 70% covered in water, Sadiki covers the other 30%.

Scoring goals (unless you are Haaland) is tough in the Premiership. I expect the management brains trust of the club is well aware of this... will the January transfer window produce new midfield creators and strikers. Not that Mr Blobby and Isador are poor (not forgetting Mayenda), one does hold the ball up well and the other is fast for through and over the top balls.

Onwards and upwards, tough away game next week.
