    That says a lot for the level of the market the club is having to search in. From hoping for Carvalho to this doesn't give you a lot of confidence going forward but it could be just paper talk of course.

    I can see why we’re after a #10. We have players who can play there but nobody who is a “specialist” I guess.

    Weren’t we after Lewis Koumas in the summer but he went to Birmingham? He might get recalled so wonder if we’ll be in for him again.

    He'll be gone in January surely? He's nowhere near good enough for this level. We need to just accept that 9/10 the players who we can currently attract from Turkey are just not good enough.
