I recall Darren Ferguson playing for them....Tell you what, I recall him hitting one from 25 yards v us at KC, and it whistling passed Myhill's post by a width of a blue bottle's todger. Other than a decent shot he was crap...That's Ferguson not Boaz.

PS...1-1 draw...Wrexham seemed to have a few of em.

Now seems Gelhardt is struggling with a calf injury. We've had far too many muscle injuries this season.

I think the problem is the midfield, not protecting them enough. Easy to play through etc.
Agree .... but I don't think it's as simple as that.
Without McBurnie, we are so poor upfront. Gelhardts goals have papered over the cracks. Ball don't stick, hold up is next to non-existant, the threat (other than if Gelhardt is on it) is so weak, etc.
Midfield is as you say.
Defence is full of mistakes, and too often are all over the place. Without Hughes, who is too prone to mistakes, our passing out from defence is sub-standard.
Communication betweeen defence and keeper is clearly an issue.
We so desparately need key players back, but it just isn't happening and is taking an age, and if anything may be getting worse (with Lundstram and Drameh out, and possibly now Gelhardt - beyond ridiculous).

Difficult game, Will some of the players been injured start, changes have to be made, last Friday was so poor, defence can’t afford to Pratt about, if in doubt clear it, need more protection from the midfield and without Lundstram we badly miss a play maker, got to move the ball quicker. They haven’t lost in eight, we’ve only won one in four. This is the championship though so it’s on the night, players should be hurting after the humiliation of Friday, Get on with it, everyone together and get some pride back in that stadium.

Don’t agree and think you are being disingenuous towards Joseph there. Yes McBurnie scores the goals but we look a much more well rounded and all around competitive team with Joseph’s running up front. We just need more than only Geldhart to offer some goal threat.

I think the loss of Belloumi and Millar not only has stifled us attacking wise, but it is maybe not recognised enough that when Belloumi came on against Boro, their fullback could not bomb forward as they have Belloumi to contend with attack wise, which does help us defensively.

It was like when we lost Bowen and Grosicki.

Never mind the injury list, what's the weather forecast? If its like last Friday night I might go out and purchase a set of trawlerman's oil skins....
Maddest thing I saw on TV the other day was a public service announcement about saving water and the lack of rain that is leaving the reservoirs low....
FFS. When I looked out of the window there was a monsoon outside....WTF is happening to this country?

Lack of investment due to privatisation.
Aren't we the only country in the world with private water companies ?
