I can’t see him resting Xhaka or Sadiki. Could be wrong.

Can we trust the referee?Oh I’ll be beside myself. Have to trust the lads, though.

I didn't mean he should play, just that he isn't injured anymoreHjelde up against Haaland…![]()
Aye, should’ve been booked the other nightI thought Sidiki did a foul against Liverpool that would usually warrant a yellow but he never got one.

Too soon, I'm still worn out from last night's rollercoaster!
Got to be honest, my number one priority for this game is for Xhaka and Sadiki not to be booked. Hopefully we can race into an early 5-0 lead and sub them off.
Expecting more tweaks from Reggie, wouldn't be surprised if Isidor starts with an eye on hitting them on the break. Think the result depends on which man city shows up and whatever happens got to remember how Fulham got back at them.
Thats still a bloody good team. How the hell do we fit Diarra in when he gets back.

It’s just another 3 points if pure objective is survival. Resting them is like taking an additional 1 game ban when still need to get through another 4 afterwards without another booking. As previously stated, I don't think it's Reggie's style either, but players can get booked for nowt these days, if we were to go into the derby missing one of these (two doesn't bear thinking about) it's a massive blow and really opens up a narrative for them to win the midfield battle. The derby is only three points but it's so much more in terms of the peripheral benefits that can reverberate around the club. Again, I don't think it's Reggie's style as he seems to be very much a pragmatist rather than a romanticist but I think the option of resting the players is worth discussing.
