Who else is not bothered by what sky, bbc or their like say or don't say about us, neutral fans around the globe watched that game last night and they all would've been impressed with us. The real fans from every team has taken notice and so would've the management of other clubs.
North East football is changing, MIND THE GAP.

Having slept on last nights performance and the adrenaline from the Wilson 1-on-1 now subsided, I am even prouder of the lads this morning. What a fantastic team we have. Not only do we have quality, but the way they all apply themselves as a unit is the best I have ever seen supporting us through the years. The sky really is the limit for these lads. Bring on City.

It's no longer match analysis and talking about key incidents, but dumbing down to follow the "narrative" and the glamour players because that's what the media thinks people want to hear. And a lot of it is also down to pundits knowing the square root of **** all about different teams and players unless they play for certain clubs. They don't have knowledge or interest in other clubs, so talk about the Liverpools, Man Us etc. and the Salahs and Brunos to cover up their lack or knowledge then get shown up by the likes of us doing well when they underestimate us because they know nowt about us.

Spot on and that includes Super Kev, among others connected to this great club by history alone, and of course the media money. Sadly its how it works.

I see people get put out by Sky mainly talking about Liverpool etc.. and think it’s ****e but let em and **** em!

Sky was like the Liverpool channel and the commentary team was like watching a England match where commentary is and can get away being 100% for England. Except it was for Liverpool!

Carragher said he was impressed by Sundrland but kept saying how terrible Liverpool were.

Thought Sadiki did really well tonight, it's already a cliché with him but he was everywhere. Difference with him is he doesn't just run he reads the game and has quality on the ball.

Hell of a well rounded player considering he's only 20.

Sadiki is the central midfielder man united desperately need.

What surprises me the most is how economical he is with the ball, even in tight spaces, finds a way always. His engine is unreal.

Nice last few paragraphs on the BBC report:

... Sunderland fully deserved the point they secured at Anfield – and few could have complained had they left with victory.

The superb management of Regis le Bris, matched with a summer of ambition in the transfer market, has reaped rich rewards as they stand sixth in the Premier League with 23 points.

Sunderland were positive from the start, never allowing Liverpool to build any momentum as they were sound in possession and a danger throughout.

Backed by their noisy fans on a freezing Merseyside night, and with 33-year-old Granit Xhaka once again showing what a masterstroke signing he has been with his experience and control in midfield, Sunderland were fearless.

Even with Liverpool threatening a late rally, Sunderland held firm without alarms, with keeper Robin Roefs giving off an air of calm.

If there is a disappointment, it is that Sunderland will feel they should have scored a dramatic winner deep into injury time when Isidor ran clear - but tried to round Liverpool keeper Alisson, allowing Federico Chiesa to scramble the ball off the line.

This, however, was another night of real promise for Sunderland, who continue to grow as a Premier League side.

WOW , and their match day thread is a sheer joy OaU.

Not to mention 2 ex Liverpool players in the studio. The commentator nearly came in his pants when Liverpool equalised

Par for the course mate. So that's a draw with Arsenal, Beaten Chelsea and drew with Liverpool so far. Yes lost to Man U but that was our own downfall. 5 points from 12 that no one expected us to get and oh how the powers that be won't like that.

Liverpool were terrible because they weren’t allowed to be good!

Absolutely terrific performance to a man. Would of taken a point before the game but feel slightly disappointed with a point this morning. Great performances all over the pitch. What a time to follow the lads. On to City and more of the same please. Hopefully we can play in red and white as the black kit is a tad unlucky.

Never thought I'd get so much pleasure watching a well-drilled 442 shape out of possession, moving and working like a single organism. It's the bedrock of our fantastic start.

I don't think we are really defensive either as we switch into fast, attacking football whenever an opening appears.
