Mark Wood, the Clark-Salter of the England team, is crocked again and misses the 2nd Test so our fastest bowler is out of the day/night match. A good bet might now be an Aussie win and Starc to take 10 wickets although the odds may be shortening by the day...

The players play so much cricket nowadays, l don't think their bodies can handle it, especially the bowlers.
Problem is, the cricket board only care about the money they make from each series.
Their flogging them, which suits India and alike, cause it makes for bigger gambling bets, on the game.
Totally corrupt boards.

The hard Aussie pitches will aggravate any weakness, let's hope Archer doesn't follow...

Sincerely hope both teams stay healthy & keep their players…… makes for a better game.
Would be good to have the best XIs on the pitch, but whatever combination I fear that Baz ball, which I have hugely enjoyed, is about to show its limitations. Happy to get away with anything but a 5-0 whitewash this series. Getting a draw or two depends on our batsmen, who really have to sharpen up. I’ve said it before but Root has to get a couple of tons to be in the all time greats list.

Here’s hoping Sydney is raining for a draw, Sydney has lost more days due to rain than old Trafford

Possibly part of the strategy, they've said from the start the need to rotate the bowlers so back in for the next one when one of the other bowlers will be rested.

Test cricket is best when you score 387 over two days with one of the openers scoring 73 off 213 balls while old men fall asleep in the stands. John Major didn't die for this.
