The players play so much cricket nowadays, l don't think their bodies can handle it, especially the bowlers. Problem is, the cricket board only care about the money they make from each series. Their flogging them, which suits India and alike, cause it makes for bigger gambling bets, on the game. Totally corrupt boards.
Would be good to have the best XIs on the pitch, but whatever combination I fear that Baz ball, which I have hugely enjoyed, is about to show its limitations. Happy to get away with anything but a 5-0 whitewash this series. Getting a draw or two depends on our batsmen, who really have to sharpen up. I’ve said it before but Root has to get a couple of tons to be in the all time greats list.
