Been reading through 59 pages of Monday nights Fans Forum. It sounded like a disastrous evening....two obvious points were hammered home. 1.....Financially the club was in a perilous position.....which seemed to shock most people. 2.....And because of that Tom Cleverley isn't going anywhere....because we can't afford to pay him off.....not said in those words of course....he was backed as a good manager it seems. And the consensus from the management to the audience was that last summers goings and comings where a disaster......some of the players brought in are not good enough.....so the players will enjoy hearing that the club think that they're rubbish....that will surely not help to unite the players with their bosses. Financially we cannot expect much in the way of new players in the January window....hopefully a few loans at best. So Cleverley will continue to do what he does best....lose matches badly and ....lead us nearer to Div Two.....Happy Christmas everyone. So Cleverley is ok and the players aren't ??
Hi BC....That's just my interpretation of page after page of comment on pasoti...from those that where following by watching the video. There seemed to be a lot of dispair (from the green army)... regarding Tom Cleverley and his three year contract which it seems we cannot afford to pay off even if we wanted too....although Simon Hallett...Paul Berne and Derek Adams where still backing Cleverley as Chief Coach....but where not showing the same support for the players....which will go down badly in the dressing room. In hindsight it seems the summer ins and outs turned into quite a disaster.....which the green army didn't need reminding about. The Financial state of the club seemed to shock those present at the meeting.....who had been told over a period that we where paying our way.....last summers debacle semed to have changed that.
Do you remember we had that imposter on this board some years ago whose sole aim was spreading alarm, fraternal strife and despondency? Just asking for a friend.
