Argyles' away trip to Wigan has been rearranged because of their involvement in the FA Cup.

Will now be played on Tues 10th March at 7.45pm.

It seems that Argyle are top of the discipline league for Div One.

So I've checked for myself and this is what I've counted

50 yellows and 4 reds from 22 league matches.

Plus.....12 yellows and 1 red from Cup competitions.

If discipline starts at home then we have a problem because.......

Tom Cleverley has 5 yellows and 1 red himself on top of those counted above ?

So it is difficult for him to rollick the players.

Other teams might notice these stats and play accordingly to further gain an advantage over us.....looks like it's working.

54 year old Andy Woodman has got Bromley to the top of Div Two......if things get worse at Argyle then he is a manager that needs serious consideration.....he is an ex-keeper that has proved his coaching ability....he has worked twice with Alan Pardew....coached at West Ham...Newcastle and Arsenal as a keeper coach.....and as a youngster came through the ranks with Gareth Southgate who is still a close friend.

For Christ’s sake Plym, give it a rest.

If there’s money to spend, spend it on players, not compensation for sacking one head coach and more compensation for prising another one from his current club.

If you prefer the shambles that it is at the moment fine.....but even if Cleverley keeps us up he isn't the man to get us promotion from this league next year.....financially things are going down hill....and next years season ticket holders will fall....causing more trouble....so both approaches means less in the pot for new players.....Hallett is not a bottomless pit of money......staying with Cleverley long term could be foolish.

Spending the money on players is fine.....as long as the coaching is good enough to get the best out of them....and that is the question at the moment.

Meanwhile, on the important subject of recruiting players, which may actually make us stronger rather than bringing in a new coach with no idea about the players he’s inherited, throwing us back into chaos at an absolutely crucial time in the season…..

In his post Wycombe interview, Cleverley was asked about his decision to put Mitchell up as a No 9 after the 83rd minute substitutions.

He confirmed a “traditional No 9” was a top target in the upcoming transfer window.

Whilst this may be viewed by some as a step back to a bygone age, I’d point to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who’d more or less disappeared from sight at Everton, but is now tearing up trees, with 8 goals in 16 appearances in the EPL for newly promoted and 16th placed Leeds United. He’s even being tipped as a possibility for the England World Cup squad.

Been mentioned that Owen Oseni will be out for 6 weeks.....can't have the physios out of work can we ?

This is good news....an experienced senior player to bring stability to a team that at times shows so little of it.

Loanee Law McCabe will be returning to Middlesbrough.......so a loanee vacancy if required.

Unconfirmed on pasoti that Hungarian Kornel Szucs has left Argyle for Hungarian side Ferencvarosi TC.

Problem highlighting how well he is playing......His parent club Charlton have been struggling lately and might take note.....and recall him ?
