I hope you know, that nowhere in the scientific section of the ICCC report, the Holy Bible for many, does it assert that there is a climate emergency. Nowhere.
If Trump and Farage say so it must be right then.

Climate change deniers must really hate their kid’s because anyone with eyes can see the world is changing. You need to see who funds the people many see happy to follow.

Rewind to the start of this exchange. You said a pensioner with a monthly income of not much more than£600 per month was paying for the lifting of the benefit cap. I asked why that is, and you said 'Maybe where the £300 went that got taken off their heating allowance?'.

It's demonstrably true that a pensioner living on the basic state pension will receive either £200 or £300 this year in WFA depending on their age.

I really can't help you any further with this. I'm out, off to celebrate our win.
Good lad and enjoy your night!

Any pensioner on £35k will die of stupidity not the cold. I wonder what they did before the last labour government brought the WFA in?

it’s a shame some on the right cared as much for pensioners when Johnson and Hancock were sending them to their unnecessary deaths.

ill never understand a party that wants to tax the wealthy who have worked extremely hard to get to where they are, to give it to bone idle people who play the system for what they can get, without getting off their fat arses.
A lot of Wealthy people employ a lot of people. These people in turn pay taxes.
These people are paying 40% of what they earn over the threshold. I know there will be plenty of loopholes they use.
However surely the answer isn't to tax the rich, to supplement the lazy
That’s socialism, do well get punished and be expected to subsidise the bone idle

It is not Trump, or Farage, or any other bogey man. It is the ICCC report itself.

If you can find the part in the scientific section that asserts that there is a climate emergency, fair enough. Good luck looking. They were very careful not to say so .

Maybe Japan, and Germany, and China and India and the Phillipines and many others have all been bribed and corrupted by the evil oil and gas and coal producers. Maybe.

Or maybe, they just want affordable energy for their people and their economies. Maybe they are all wrong. Maybe the UK are the only country that is right.

Maybe.

Maybe countless scientists around the world are wrong then. I’ll bow to yours Trump and Farage’s superior knowledge about the subject.

At least Trump and Farage have an excuse for their ignorance given the people who fund them.

Hmm, my brother and his mates, when they were teenagers , as a wind-up to their teachers signed a paper that said the earth is flat.

What does science know huh...

An acknowledged point is, yes transition to, by and large, eliminate carbon emissions... has to managed and afforded

. Rather than import gas whilst we build up our renewableas I would frack!

The only sensible way is to use gas, nuclear, and wind. But we have too much wind capacity now, and virtually no storage.Wind producers are often paid not to produce electricity because it would affect the grid .

The only viable storage we gave is a fifty year old facility which pumps water up a hill in the night and releases it during the day. This is mainly used to manage demand and balance the grid, a critical issue which is quite understandably not known about by most.

Battery storage will help a bit, but it is fantastically expensive, not working really even now, and will only ever provide back up four a few hours at most. The wind can and does fall for many days at a time,, usually in the cold winter months.

Cryogenic storage is by far the best bet. It works and could provide much longer back up. Only one is being built, and it it is being very badly hampered by competing QUANGOS. It is pretty established engineering work, but in the UK now, knocking on a door requires a hundred forms to satisfy multiple bureaucrats .

We have a lot of gas. Whatever happens, we will be using a lot of it for at least the next twenty or thirty years. It is insane to be importing so much at such a cost.

Can still remember DH4 taking the piss out of him because he thought he was a Tory <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
He is certainly a right wing racist loon, probably at home in either party. :)

Alludes to the brainwashed far right continuously, he’s actually brainwashed himself. Worse still he’s on here trying to brainwash people to the far left
Him & Slut are too self righteous and pompous to accept other people’s opinions
you are way far gone with your hate filled politics mate. The right wing spend a fortune to try to manipulate working class people to vote against their better interests and found you. Brainwashing is their specialty.

I and one or two others on here are merely providing a balance to the cut and paste right wing rhetoric. SAFC has always been a working class club based on miners, teachers and shipbuilders and long may it continue

If Reform can so clearly blame the disaster of Brexit entirely on civil servants and lawyers ...

... what makes people think they wouldn't do exactly the same with immigration, the economy, NHS, etc.

It would just be the same old Liz Truss, Suella Braverman, Sunak, Boris book of excuses.

"It was a perfect plan which would've worked perfectly if reality hadn't got in the way."

This is the only social media I have so wrong again, you can search my posts and you will not find 1 thing copied and pasted. My views are based solely on what I see happening in society day to day. And don’t lecture me on what my club has represented over the years, I come from the very same background.
Your post again smacks of pompous self righteousness
Keep singling me out all you want your far left bollocks will never turn my head, means your leaving others alone
Enjoy your Sunday
