I still have nightmares about that 5-2 defeat in 2007
Danny Coles....Had a mire. First time I've heard of a footballer, other than Gazza, apparently crying on the pitch...I can't imagine he played many more times. He was decent when he first came, but that night any confidence drained out of him.

Joseph is our best striker it makes sense to me to find space for other players rather than moving Joseph to make space. You want your best players in their best positions.
I suspect you’re taking the piss again. Clearly McBurnie is our best striker when fit. And Joseph would have probably missed the chance Destan buried so well at QPR. BUT I still think we’re better as a team, if McBurnie’s absent, with Joseph up top because I think he inspires the team to give every last drop of effort, like he does.

Ndala keeps the ball like he did when he came on , before that it came straight back on Saturday .
Ndala is a good player. Occasionally he keeps the ball too long, rather than picking the right pass, and so gets dispossessed. I guess he needs to be more consistent. Blows a bit hot and cold. But Ndala, Joseph, Gelhardt, would be my preferred top 3 against Ipswich.

Should be interesting. All the ****housery we were displaying pre injuries has completely dissipated atthus point. I'd hoped Crooks would provide a bit but so far he hasn't since coming back in.

you have to wonder how much his injury is affecting him, id say quite big
hes been way more 'timid' if thats the right word recently

The funny thing is if we lose this and struggle over the next few the same people that rubbished all those xG tables that suggested we'd been riding our luck will be searching for answers to why the sudden dip in form.
We were bang mid table before the break though on that sample. 10th to be exact

Squad update from [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG] ahead of Ipswich Town tomorrow night. John Lundstram still not quite ready, so it’ll be the same squad as Saturday minus the suspended Matt Crooks. - Baz

Tough gig but I would rather returning players be fit and ready when they return.

We need to sit in and frustrate the hell out of them. Fouls, blocks, physical, go down injured and anything I've missed type of game.

Never going to happen with Sergej in charge.

4-2 City

McBurnie’s absence is starting to worry me now. Feels like it’s a lot more serious than they’re letting on.

they just need to stop saying arbitrary deadlines
been same with lundstram
ready for this or that
and suddenly hes not ready for this game again

didnt use to be a thing

now theyre saying, mcburnie and millar are back for middlesbrough
why even ****ing say that game thats in 3 games time..
stop

what even is mcburnies injury? torn calf muscle or something? guess if its not been healing properly, maybe surgery will be needed

It's frustrating that after all the talk of the international break coming at a good time, allowing us to get players back fit, we've actually had nobody return since before the break and we've in fact lost another player in Crooks, so we're even weaker than we were before the break.

It did feel overly optimistic, as everyone coming back has been out ages so will need at least one bench appearance. We won't see Belloumi, Millar, Lundstram and McBurnie start until at least Millwall you'd think.

Can see Belloumi starting tomorrow, bit of rotation in what is a relative free hit match.

Not impressed with Ndala. Like most young premier league loanees. Offers little.
Another Jason Lokilo, or Adamo Traroe.....Plenty of bling, but the veneer soon wears off..Far better than Akintola, but who aint? Not sure who told City he was a decent baller
