There was a huge staff shortage before they were built … … but Boris just wanted to boast about building hospitals in a fortnight. It was obviously ridiculous from the start.
Corbyn was a hopeless politician but Tory cronies wouldn’t have lined their pockets with millions of stolen public money that’s for sure
The enquiry was certainly an expensive shambles for the Tories and their sympathisers as it demonstrates their incompetence and corruption. For the the rest of us hopefully lessons can be learned.
Sadly, in a few years time it will have all but been forgotten and a new breed of grifters, sorry, politicians, and businessmen, will be there for any opportunities.
Possibly but the politicians were Tories and their corruption was off the scale. Hopefully the country can get some of the money back from the Tory thieves and cronies
There's a weird conundrum developing in life. A sliding scale of competance against character has evolved in an almost mathematical way. Boris Johnson was excused lying to the public, failing to attend meetings, breaking the law, etc ... ... because he was a 'loveable buffoon' who went on the telly being funny. I wouldn't want the Sunderland owner to be a zany character, drinking in the Wheatsheaf and wearing a Sunderland shirt at SJP ... ... I may be boring but I prefer him to be a serious and determined man who acts in the best interests of the club, not his own ego.
